Booked in advance, then at midnight we're left in the rain when the driver cancelled the job, the office staff just say book another (and pay again!) Or mysteriously can't find your booking then hang... Ver más

Don't recommend

If you're only going a short distance use another company. I'm disabled so didn't want to go far. Two drivers picked up the ride and then cancelled more than likely for a more expensive one. When the taxi driver did get to me he drove like a nutter to get to my home. Driving over speed bumps at break neck speed. As I said I'm disabled and the journey was horrendous hurting me in the process. I used to be a loyal customer of DG Cars. Not any more. Absolutely disgusting greedy behaviour and your drivers should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

Don’t use DG Taxis, use Uber

I booked a taxi 5 days before the required date. They cancelled at exactly when the pick up was due. On phoning them they played the ‘I can’t hear you’ card. Do not trust them, they don’t turn up. Uber were there in 5 mins at half the price.

D and G licenced taxi from Wolverhampton ????

Why are d and g Nottingham using Wolverhampton drivers … who are not checked as carefully and as a Nottingham resident how do I complain to Wolverhampton … I will be following this up with the city council Nottingham evening post the local bbc whoever will listen

Sent car and driver said his car wasn’t…

Sent car and driver said his car wasn’t big enough to take a folding wheelchair. Driver said he would get estate car to pick us up. Unfortunately had to phone directly to be told would be 15 to 20 minutes. Waited 20 minutes then get a phone call to say taxi would now be 35 to 40 minutes. So will not be using again. That’s not the way to treat customers.

I ll only use these (and uber) now, after a horrendous experience with central cabs or whatever they call themselves in Nottingham (who deleted my review on their site), you’re guaranteed safety with DG and they only have normal drivers not drug dealing bullies.

Terrible service and experience with a driver!
The driver made me feel incredibly uncomfortable, particularly around payment. Upon entering the taxi and starting the journey, the driver asked me if I was paying cash or card via the link. I initially said cash but after 2 mins, asked if I could swap to card via the link as it had now come through. The driver told me that the payment on the link would not be accurate due to traffic at that time of day. I confirmed the price that it told me on the link and he said it would be more. On the link it is supposed to be a fixed price. I then said to the driver after he argued with me over the price 'so I can't pay via the link then?' And he replied with 'well, yes you can. But if you want to pay fairly then ....' and gave me a disapproving look. This made me feel incredibly uncomfortable, especially as a female traveling alone. Why offer a fixed price online if drivers can change it and make passengers uncomfortable in the process? Very unprofessional. His attitude made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe for the trip, to the point where I contacted family members for advice who then phoned DG office. Upon arrival at the hotel, I explained to the driver that I was going to pay via the link and he huffed at me. However, the link would not accept any payment. There was confusion between myself and the driver as to who gets confirmation of payment. I thought payment had gone through but it had not and the driver got agitated which made me feel very vulnerable. I felt the need to open the car door for my safety (whilst parked at the hotel entrance). The driver then said in a very firm tone 'just pay in cash. It is easier for me and it is easier for you if you just pay cash'. How on earth does he know if this is easier for me? He does not know my circumstances and so should not be making comments like that. In the end, I paid cash as I just needed to get out of his car to where I felt safe. The payment ended up being £5 more than if I had paid card. I spoke to the hotel about the drivers attitude and they agreed that comments like that were very unprofessional and could see how it would make me feel uncomfortable. Both myself and the hotel felt that these comments may not have been made if I was travelling with someone rather than alone.
Very disappointed with the service and would not recommend to anyone. First time visiting Nottingham and using this taxi firm, and will not be using again. I hope that nobody else goes through and experiences what I did. Safety, comfort and reliability should be top priorities for a company and this fell well short. The first taxi I booked was also bad experience too! Polite driver but took me to wrong location and was charged for this. The return taxi was also booked for wrong location and so didn't turn up which prompted me to phone the company and they had to rebook it. Very disappointed and wouldn't recommend.

Terrible service from DG tonight

Terrible service from DG tonight. Pre booked taxi over 24 hours in advance only to be told it would be 20 minutes late as they don't allocate drivers and they were busy. So no priority for pre booked taxis and you can't rely on them if you have a deadline! Awful service when I called as well.

Book a taxi- take your money. No driver

Book a taxi. Says it will be 15 minutes. Take your money straight away. Then radio silence. Absolute jokers!!! Oh and takes 3-5 working days for a refund. Can’t speak to a soul. Just automated nonsense. This is how the works is going It’s really sad!!

Had a terrible experience with this…

Had a terrible experience with this taxi company , I ordered a taxi to pick me up from the hospital after visiting my sick husband , as soon as I got in the car I felt unsafe the driver wasn't concentrating and driving very erratic, we ended up actually having a accident on the A52 , I was then left to walk home in the dark as a 62 year old lady this was very distressing

Completely misleading

Pre-ordered a taxi to take us to the station. The app said very clearly “booking confirmed” and “pay in vehicle”. When the taxi did not show up we called and they said the taxi is not coming because you didn’t pay in advance. However, we were never sent a payment link. Completely useless.

Worst taxi company ever

Worst taxi company ever. Every time I have booked with them nothing but problems. Minimum wait is 30 mins, I booked a taxi to work as it said driver would be 5 mins and was one hour late ! ONE HOUR ! Absolutely ridiculous idk how they are still in business. 0 starts

Unreliable company, won't use again.

I ordered the taxi 2 days in advance and paid in advance for my mother to go to the airport. I got a call at 5 in the morning (when it was due) asking where to go. I told the driver the house number and he was at completely the wrong end of the road. How hard is it to read Google maps or use a Sat Nav? It's your job to be able to follow simple directions. I won't use them again as they are unreliable.

Last Monday we ordered a taxi but it did not arrive, the operator said they couldn’t locate the driver. If it wasn’t for a kind neighbour we would have missed our holiday coach. No explanation was given. Will NOT use DG taxis again. BB, Gedling.

I would strongly advise people to think…

I would strongly advise people to think twice before using this company. On several occasions, they charged me twice for the same trips, with payments taken just seconds apart. When I raised the issue, I was brushed off with excuses that ignored the fact that money was withdrawn multiple times from my account.
Their customer service was poor – instead of investigating properly, they pushed the blame onto me, ignored the screenshots I provided, and dismissed my complaint. I was even asked to pay again for a ride I had already paid for.
This kind of behaviour is unacceptable. I expected honesty and professionalism, but instead faced duplicate charges and a complete refusal to take responsibility.

Five Star Service from Arrow

Based on previous experience, I decided to use Arrow for my EMA transport requirement, and was not disappointed.
Booking and payment was straight forward, aided by an efficient and friendly operator. The car arrived on time, the driver being a very polite and personable man. All this at a very reasonable price. Overall, a first class experience, and I will certainly be using this company again

The driver turned up on time. Very smart, punctual and friendly.

Drove very safely to our destination and, when we arrived, he assisted us by pushing our luggage trolley into departures.

Overall very professional and efficient.
