Worst experience!!

Worst experience!!
Terrible communication, they barely answer phones, don’t bother phoning back most of the time, If they do return your call, or you finally get a hold of someone, terribly rude, condescending & a lack of accountability that they have any responsibility to the tenant or the legal requirements.

They work for the landlord & really have zero regard for the tenant after the lease is signed.
It took an unreasonable time to action any issues with my tenancy. Would not recommend

Di Jones managment of my upper north shore properties

Di Jones has been managing my properties for almost a decade. They have been wonderful - professional, helpful, prompt and great advice throughout. Richard Tippins (in Di Jones Wahroonga), in particular, always went the extra mile to help when I was managing the properties from overseas. Excellent and professional team of realtors.

New to the Sydney rental market…An absolutely exceptional experience!

We are new to the Sydney rental market and had the absolute pleasure of meeting with Ghazaleh from Di Jones St Ives. Her guidance and support made our transition incredibly smooth. Ghazaleh has been so very helpful and professional every step of the way.

She made what could have been a difficult process feel effortless. Thank you, Ghazaleh, for your outstanding service!

Rude staff

Christine Coulton was rude and abrupt when I called about our new tenancy. She hung up the phone the first time and the second time talked down to me as if I were a naughty school child. As someone in the service industry and a landlord myself I would be horrified if my tenants were spoken to in that manner. Our previous manager was also unresponsive, my overall experience with Di Jones has been poor at best.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed, have not been able to get information from them concerning leasing a property with them for 5 years, they are legally obligated to offer info for 6 years . Neutral bay office shocking service

Source of Spam Marketing emails

This company sends out what appear to legitimate invoices in some sort of misguided marketing campaign.
I thought I was being scammed given that I have not used their services and don’t even live in Australia anymore.
I had to make a number of calls from the UK to Australia to sort this out as the email I sent them was clearly received but instead of acting on it, whoever read it merely corrected the spelling of my name. And I received more emails from them.
I eventually spoke to Talia in Mona Vale, who was efficient and lovely (the reason they get any stars at all) who worked out what was happening and put a stop to it.
However, whoever is deciding their business practices really needs to have a rethink.

Dijones real estate

Dijones, Terrigal is an extremely professional and friendly real estate agent. They have outstanding facilities which they run the real estate out of just off the main Street of Terrigal. Of the staff go above and beyond to provide quick, well organised contracts for all of their customers. I would definitely recommend this real estate to any of my friends, family, and my other community. Thank you Dijones! 🙂

Avoid at all costs!

NOT RECOMMENDED - Truly shocking mismanagement of our once beautiful property. Unprofessional from property manager to the very top (partner). Avoid at all costs.

Context, used DiJones Bowral property management whilst overseas, leased our property for just over two years. Thankfully we've taken ownership again, not sure our house could have survived much longer under the 'management' of DiJones. Wouldn't normally take time to write such a detailed review but need to highlight our genuine terrible and shocking experience to other current and potential landlords. We returned to our property mid Dec 24, and are still incurring huge costs and ongoing remedial works. Damages exceed $20k. As I write this review the facts are: Tenant got full bond returned, DiJones have yet to apologise nor offer fair compensation. We also have a complaint open with NSW Fair Trading.

Be cautious, Louise is excellent, perfect at pitching their services but that's where it ends. Once signed up you're offloaded to an incompetent, lazy and untrained property manager and that's when the real issues start. We were unfortunate to have had Ainsley Boyle as our PM, she is no longer with the company, nor is her manager. This unfortunately isn’t an isolated incident, there is a clear history of negligence as outlined in black and white on several other Google Reviews.

Our outgoing inspection report was nothing short of spectacularly substandard. Circa 200 photos, 75 of them were of the small utility room to avoid showing any of the real (and already known) damage to the property. The rest of the photos were purposefully selected at careful angles, grainy imagery. No attention to detail or fair representation of the genuine property condition. Ainsley Boyle insisted the property was returned in an ‘as move in condition’. When you place the ingoing and outgoing reports side by side it's night and day condition wise.

Upon re-entering our home we were presented with an array of significant issues. Extra disappointing given we’d already known about a number of damages. To any trained property manager these would have been obvious and should have been documented and had the tenant rectify (or reimburse us).
- The house was genuinely filthy. Toilets not cleaned, lights, kitchen cupboards, medicine cabinets all with heavy staining or grime. Every single window was open (poor security, thank you DiJones), the house absolutely stank of cat urine.
- Several things that were clearly identified from the inspection report, and that should have been resolved by the tenant (with DiJones ensuring completion) were not done. Kitchen pantry dismantled, lawns destroyed (still looking terrible), damage to table setting, many other missing items…
- Deep obvious scratch to varnished hardwood floor in main open plan room
- Broken sash window
- Heavy paint damage/scratching to slow-combustion wood fire
- Single toilet WC had been turned off because broken (leaking)
- Several door handles had been slammed through walls creating large dents, easily visible that they were repaired very poorly – not sanded, painted wrong colour
- The tenant has painted internal woodwork, doors, walls in an erratic and patchy way, with the wrong paints and poorly painted. Virtually every wall in the property needed repainting
- Two main fan lights aren’t working
- Extensive wall damage throughout
- Widespread mould, requiring walls out! Ainsley failed to act on an instruction to engage trades to dry out walk in robe post a leak, just left it causing extensive mould damage
- The cat had used the corners of our two year old carpet as a clawing post. Several carpet corners now threadbare, plus study still has extensive staining
- Premium metal showerhead replaced with cheap plastic showerhead
- Frameless shower frame loose, missing key components/hardware on support arm.
- Water damage main bathroom
This is on top of endless landlord expenses - emergency callouts for blocked plumbing, septic system damages, remedial hedgerow care

We had no alternative but to return from overseas. Given all of the failings of DiJones allowing the property to deteriorate so quickly and extensively we’d be unable to re-rent the property.

You decide about their rental section

I let you decide about their rental section.
First 'manager' at DiJones Neutral Bay.
I was a tenant and moved in shortly before Christmas. The oven didn't turn on. The manager failed to respond so we had no oven over Christmas. I had to purchase a separate device to cook with.
Subsequent manager/s, at DiJones Neutral Bay.
We had a water quality issue in the building so were all advised to purchase drinking water. No rebate or refund was offered or applied.
We vacated and the inspection identified some things that needed rectification. Fair enough. Then during negotiation they also decided that the cooker, that we had never used..., needed a wipe down. Evidently inspection number one was poorly done.
I, to this day, haven't seen any photos of the remedial work that I ended up paying for. Apparently DiJones didn't have photographs... so what did the next tenant have on their entry report?
I can't recommend this crowd for managing tenants. I always had the impression they thought they were something special and yet were quite the opposite.

Unwanted sales approach

Received a letter stating, "As a valued past client of mine" which we are NOT. Then "I wanted to express my gratitude to you for your ongoing support" and there has been ZERO of this. Then in closing "thankyou for your past patronage and recommendations," again which has never happened. Not sure what recommendations we could give to a realo except dont write BS when trying to secure more sales, it leaves a bad taste.
