ZERO STARS!!

If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. The service is expensive, AND the customer service is horrible. I live on a mountain and my choices are limited, but I am now actively looking at other providers. These people OBVIOUSLY do NOT care about customer experience. It is just a bunch of white men wanting to get richer. I am a white woman, and this does not surprise me. I am also a veteran and will find another company that actually CARES.

Cancelling my subscription

Cancelling my subscription. Done with them. The dropped Fox regular ( not news) channel because to cheap to pay the station owner in Montana what they asked in contract renewal. I have a box there and our home in California. You. An only use the record on one box. Just ridiculous. What does it cost them to allow features on both. Especially when I pay for it. This company is a has been. It's owned by AT & T so explains a lot of it.
We are going with just streaming. And definitely not using them. Oh and my bill just keeps going up as we continue to lose channels

I have had Directv since 2007

I have had Directv since 2007. Every time I would turn around they would go up on my bill. My bill started in 2007 was $69 and it finally reached $221 for nothing but reruns, I mean how many times do you want to see the karate kid right? I finally let them go ,I could not afford that. I wish there was a way to recoup some of that money. Maybe trustpilot could help me with this. It seamed that every month I was calling them to ask why is it going up again,again and again. They would try and give me specials they have going. That does not help with the cost. Would you keep Directv and pay that ? And another thing we didn't have all the Chanels. Go Figure!

Horrible do not use

Too expensive for low quality. Required 2 year contract. I finished the 2 year contract and didn't renew. They called for feedback on improving which would be fine if they didn't call every day asking me to sign back up and to repeat the same questions over and over. It's outright harassment now.

Fantastic Retention Offer !!!!

I called DirecTV….to see if they have any offers for well established customers like myself who have had their services for years and have paid full price for their services and I am on automatic bill pay.

The representative offered me a whopping & astonishing $5 off my next bill ONLY.

That is so incredibly helpful and kind !!!! I am on my knee’s thanking them for such a wonderful customer retention offer.

Also, the drippy, droopy, twisted noose TV cable wrapped around my gutter is fantastic FREE installation too.

I will be sure to add this to my photos of TV birds nest cables that are down my basement, wrapped around water lines, electrical boxes, a roll of toilet paper and our Christmas tree.

I love getting my neck caught on TV cables !!!!

At least if I fall off my roof…..I have something to grab on to !!

SCAM-Direct TV: would give them minus -5 stars if I…

I would give them minus -5 stars if I could!! Worst ever!! Looked on their site and the reviews there are even worse than on here for direct tv/atnt!! the service worked like crap!! couldn't watch one show without it cutting in and out.. after 10 months of that crap I canceled and they charged me 300 for canceling the service and breaking the 2 year contract. unreal!!!!! I gave them the benefit of doubt by letting them come and resolve the issue a few times but then the problem continued and I was done! They also took off two months of service charges for my trouble with the service and then when I canceled service they reapplied the charges and now I owe 503 dollars in total! If that is not enough, this was 4 years ago and I have never received mail or a call until today by a collection agency saying I owed all this money and needed to pay! Oh I forgot, they tried to charge another 480 for the equipment that I sent back the week I canceled. Thank God I have receipts for that so that they took that charge off! Now I have the rest in dispute but I have a feeling that with get unresolved! Really horrible company! Should of stayed with Dish! Just unreal!! Will update immediately, when or if, this gets resolved!!!!!

Have had dtv for ten + years

Have had dtv for ten + years, service and equipment both are sub par. Have called them numerous times about a problem with Their equipment and all they offer to do is charge me a service fee and Bill me for more equipment. They have gone to the dogs since att purchased them. Figgers. Time to go to a new provider.

How about a site that lists package prices for EXISTING CUSTOMERS who would like to DOWNGRADE??? You have way too many sites that confuse us customers with vague plans and pricings. I am going to DISH after 22 years with Direct TV if I dont receive DEFINITIVE PRICES and DEFINITIVE channel choices for packages for LOYAL CUSTOMERS. WHY SO CONFUSING??? I am ready to leave immediately if not sooner.

My mother has this at her house and every time it rains or the wind blows it goes out they have no good channels no DVR and the pay 40 more then I do a month and I have double the channels and my service never goes out it's just crazy to pay 138 a month for some sh** service

I have had nothing but trouble

I have had nothing but trouble. I'll be watching a program and it will just go blank. I can change the channel and it works. Then that channel will do the same thing. As soon as I can get out of the contract I'm done. Over $100 a month and it won't work. I'm done. Of course now it's AT&T

Direct TV

Direct TV. I was taught to not talk bad about someone. But there is nothing good to say about Direct TV. To include their THIEVERY. Extending contract without you knowledge. Satellite is knocked out when you need it most. Refusing to switch you over from satellite to u-verse when it is available c/o your contract with Direct TV. Direct TV should spend less money on FALSE commercials and more on CUSTOMER SERVICE. Sorriest Company ever. I will probably end up with negative credit ratings because I will never finish the contract. I am getting internet TV service as soon as I can find it.

The service was very bad

The service was very bad. I tried for 3 months to talk about their price and service , but I no help for them. They doubled their price after my contract ended, but would not reduce the price or give me additional channels, so I switched to Dish. We kept having the TV go out in a storm and even when there were clouds in the skies.
I tried so hard to keep Direct TV!

No 30 day guarantee (24 Hours only)

Direct told us we had 30 days to cancel if we didn't like there service. Wrong , now they say 24 hours. So we're stuck in a 2 year contract. Or we can pay them an Extra $160.00 to disconnect. Poor reception and do not get all the channels they promised (about 6 major channels short;CLOO, Chiller, America One News, ME-TV ,ect .

i just had the best telephone service yet to date with direct..The people were great..told them of my problem with comcast and all the charges..they walked me thru the whole thing..was just great..now can say good bye to comcast

Saved me money and got my favorite programming

I have been a Charter customer for 3 years and missed out on my favorite sports programming. When I called in, I was able to get more programming for a lower price each month. The representative Margie was helpful and respectful. She was also able to bundle my internet service for an additional savings.
