Was bad enough when it worked! Now I just get ‘application error’ message and it won’t open! Not that I’m missing much by not being able to use this appalling app!

I complained about the poor service and difficulty getting a docs appointment. Was told by the surgery to use doctor link. What a farce! Messages unanswered by the surgery and now I can't access the tool bc it's suffering technical issues.
Unbelievable. They say you can book appointments through Doctorlink, so I assumed you'd be able to use it to book appointments with nurses at the various clinics. In point of fact, what you get is a long, cumbersome list of questions, at the end of which you find out that if you want an appointment with, say, the diabetic clinic, you need to phone the surgery.

sadly this app is poor and it often leads you in circles i have tried it today again. Last time a while back whilst the graphics have improved it appears the app has not. It is used by my local surgery and sadly I would say it is a risk to vulnerable users who may not understand, when it gets itself in a loop and then goes back to square one. I work in technology and to be frank it is getting into the realms of the broadband provider chat bots. I suspect when fedup with the app the persons concerned then get annoyed with the surgery. So my recommendation save yourself some time and ring the surgery concerned and talk to a human, they'll feel better as you will be happier.
This app is awful. Absolutely terrible, please remove it from the app store. If you have experienced this please leave a 1 star review and remove the app immediately.
Appalling. Sent me a text saying I am a smoker. I have never smoked in my entire life. Someone should investigate this very dubious organization.
Spammed my NHS e-mail to try to sell their services, and didn't bother to respond when I called them out on it.
Tried to make an appointment with GP on this pathetic Doctorlink rubbish as I can no longer book via Patient Access (as GP surgery no long put available dates there anymore!) for next week sometime. Answered all questions to the best of my knowledge (I'm not friggin medical minded). At the end of it all, I got a response that I need to see a doctor within the next four hours. It is Saturday, and the practice is only open Mon-Fri. This is another 21st century tech cluster. Get rid of this imbecilic format and let us use the correct system that works.... like Patient Access
I used it to book a GP appointment.It had ‘recommended that this appointment should be scheduled within the next 8 hours’ on it.36 hours later still waiting for any contact from surgery…Complete waste of time
Try to book a flu jab. Go to confirm booking and nothing happens. Abysmal.
Awful! Questions frequently do not relate to symptoms, when they do, the response is often ‘call 999’ because the questions are not relevant so need to put in the closest thing. Any under reporting of symptoms (which many people do, especially older people who don’t want to be seen as problematic), it writes you off and means you won’t get an appointment so if you’re really worried, or unwell, tough! The GP receptionists treat the information they receive from it like it’s the word of god and fanatically stick to it irrespective of whether patients found the questions irrelevant ir remain concerned.
If a report does make it through, stating the you need to be seen within 3 days, nothing happens despite the surgery receiving the report. You still have to call them and for my surgery, it’s impossible to get through!
Utterly unsafe, inhumane and dangerous way to triage patients!
Waste of time. Doctors earn 70thousands plus a year and using system not working properly. All symptoms have one solution call 111 and take covid test. Wake up people doctors start make face to face appointments and work for your wages.
Waste of time. After it took me 40mins to answer endless multiple choice questions and the result was go to AnE or call 999.
How would anyone who is not connected or tech savvy be able to complete this endless registration and qs and get the help they need ? A cop out for GPs services when all want is to speak to a doctor.
Booked a telephone appointment, waited but didn’t get any. This might be a scam to get personal details of people
If I could give 0 I would have. Used this service twice had emails to say someone would be in touch. Eventually had to ring the surgery to be told nothing had come through to them and to try again. Absolute rubbish
This site is an absolute waste of time, after answering a questionnaire, it showed a number of appointments available. Clicked on everyone in turn, said it was unavailable and to click on for another time slot, went back on the appointments and the same timed showed again and showed unavailable
The GP practice I registered said that there are three ways to book an appointment: 1. through EMIS's patientaccess.com - which I tried and tried and it just couldn't link my to my GP, keep saying that my info does not correspond to the GP's record. 2. then I tried Doctorlink, and it is like an endless questionnaire asking you loads of questions, but none of the options correspond to my health problem. 3. Telephone - it turns out that this is the last and the only option to book an appointment. I've waited half an hour on the phone line just to wait on the queue of phone calls.
This is really a waste of time.
