The drawstring on the bag is very loose and it keeps releasing. Some of the stitching had unraveled. For nearly £150 I am disappointed with the quality.

Just amazing!

My princess absolutely loves her fluffy bag so I wanted a cooler one for summer!
She finds it so comfortable she actually falls asleep in her bag when at restaurants. Great customer service answering my queries and her summer bag arrived the next day! She now has a bag for every season.

Perfect puppy carrier

I’m so happy with my new puppy carrier and so is little Nellie! It’s perfect for our long walks with her older brother Norman. It’s so cosy and comfortable with plenty of room for growth. There’s a handy little pocket too for phone and keys! It’s good idea having an adjustable strap makes a difference too if there are two of you using it and you’re different heights!

Please be aware this company has no…

Please be aware this company has no after sales service its non existent. I placed my order for a puppy carrier but decided to exchange for next size as would get better use when dog had grown . The replacement was fur and not velour as was the previous carrier . I did ask for this size in the velour option but was told the could not source the fabric .This process took weeks as they don't respond quickly.didn't use the carrier as it's been too warm and noticed they were selling a breathable fabric and asked if I could exchange , I returned the carrier to exchange a second time and was not contacted regarding my exchange. I rang the shop and was advised I would have to wait . I asked if the person on the phone could pass on a message to online sales team and she refused very unhelpful. Later that day I was advised by email that the returned item could not be exchanged as it had been used and the labels were removed . I had not used the carrier so I can only assume I had been sent out a used carrier with no tags however it didn't looked used on the outside and I know I hadn't used it because my puppy was only 16 weeks old weighing 1kg and the carrier would of been too big . I stated this to the company but they have not responded they know have my money and the carrier.

Would strongly recommend reading the reviews of Dogsnug on google reviews before purchasing - takes one second to realise the nature of the company and how they try to make their money through exploiting paying customers! They just don’t reply, or they reply and refuse to issue a refund when something is their fault.

I recently purchased a dog carrier bag from Dogsnug for £115 and my experience has been incredibly upsetting. The product itself is of poor quality. While it might look decent for short-term use, it fails miserably if you're looking for a practical, supportive bag for your dog. I tried the bag for just 5 minutes with my dog, and it was immediately clear it wasn’t suitable.

When I reached out to Dogsnug for a refund, the response was nothing short of shocking. They flat-out refused, and offered me a partial refund of £70 in store credit as an alternative, claiming the bag was in "terrible condition"—the worst they’d ever seen. This was absurd since it had only been used for 5 minutes! Their claims were clearly exaggerated, and it would have taken just a second to lint roll the bag if there had been an issue. I had nothing to hide and didn't expect this level of pettiness.

To make matters worse, they refused my return because I didn’t send back the ‘canvas packaging’ as this costs them a lot of money supposedly - something I don’t even recall receiving and certainly didn’t request.

Despite my repeated attempts to reason with them and request a phone call, I never received any response other than spiteful emails. Their so-called customer service is just a front for the owner, and they clearly have no interest in resolving issues or treating customers fairly. I explained I am also a small dog company owner and that I wanted to resolve this amicably (hence my several pleas for a call in order to experience some sort of level of humanity) without leaving a negative review, and the owner responded basically to threaten to embarrass me with what they will respond - in leaving this review I say for them to bring it on, I have nothing to hide.

What made the situation worse was the complete lack of communication. Weeks would go by without a reply, leaving me in the dark. I had to start setting deadlines of around 3 working days just to get a response, and even then, they would simply ignore them. The level of customer service was non-existent. They had both my money and the bag for almost a month in the end. I’m sure they were hoping I would go away. I managed to get them to post me back the bag in the end.

I wish I had taken a picture of the bag I received back which was in the allegedly filthy condition I returned it to them in, as it was a comical moment after spending so long attempting to reason with them. No fur was even visible to the naked eye.

Dogsnug is an unethical and immoral company with terrible customer service. They show no willingness to address concerns, issue refunds, or communicate professionally. I would strongly recommend avoiding them at all costs. Spend your money elsewhere.

1.Condition of the return: The product was returned to us in extremely poor condition and was missing the custom wash bag. In nine years of business, this is the first time we've had to deny a refund based on the state of a returned item. We did, however, offered you fair alternatives.

2.Quality concerns: While you claimed the product was of poor quality, you also mentioned using it for just 5 minutes, which makes it difficult to judge long-term durability.

3.Photographic evidence: We have provided you with photos of the condition in which we received the returned product. It's unfortunate that you now claim you don’t have these images.

4.Communication: We made every effort to respond to you promptly and politely. However, when the tone of the conversation became personal and abusive from your part, we made the decision to discontinue communication and we notified you of our decision. We believe in maintaining respectful dialogue with all customers.

We take pride in the fact that the vast majority of our customers share positive experiences both online and in person.

Unfortunately, a very small minority may choose to misrepresent facts, which can be hurtful to small businesses like ours. We are always willing to accept and address genuine mistakes, but we cannot let inaccuracies shape the narrative.

Avoid this company

My miniature dachshund has IVDD and has just undergone back surgery to assist with his recovery we purchased a dogsnug carrier costing £140 on 15th April 2024. We contacted Dogsnug on 17th May as the stitching on the carrier had started to come undone they asked us to send photos which we did immediately. Because of our dachshund’s IVDD we cannot be without the carrier at the current time, so rather than send a replacement and ask us to return the one we had they offered £10 towards a repair this will not even cover the cost of my car parking to drop off and collect the carrier. They also suggested I repair it myself!!!!!!!! I have since left messages on three separate occasions requesting that the owner contacts me I have not received the courtesy of a reply. I wish I had read some of the other reviews on this website and Trustpilot this is a very expensive product and in my opinion not worth the money and to make matters worse the customer service is extremely poor and the owner clearly fails to take any responsibility.
I recommend all potential customers of this product steer clear and I will make sure I notify my dachshund Facebook and WhatsApp groups to avoid at all cost,

Super Product!

Purchased the Dachshund Dog Carrier and it’s absolutely brilliant. Really well made. Went with the sturdy base and our puppy loves it. He’s rather small, but will grow into it. Olive colour is lovely. Thanks Dogsnug!

Really awful customer service

Really awful customer service. Placed two orders, both products were faulty and of poor quality. No response to emails regarding the faulty items and I had to pay to return them! Will never order again and would advise others against it too!

Very sad to hear you feel this way, as I can see that our customer care has replied to your emails within 24-36 working hors of your messages and tried to help you.
On your first order, we offered you a return label and an exchange sent you first-class or a refund, which you opted for and was issued to you straight away.
On your second order, there is no defect in the product and once again you have been offered the option to return for a refund, which is what you requested in your email.
On both accounts, you received the products with free postage.

So I'm not sure what else you expect from us. I thank you for supporting small businesses in the way you do.

Thieves and liars

Wish I had read reviews before purchasing .
They sent the wrong item and I returned it and over 30 days later I am still waiting on a refund of £45.00 .
No reply to any emails no contact at all.
Theft from a customer. Despicable .
I think it’s a U.K. address but product is being sent from china .

So sorry, as you know we never received an email from you, and it turns out you returned without letting us know to expect it, therefore we had no record that something should arrive from you.
A refund was issued straight away after we queried this review with you and you sent us tracking of your return; even though we never received the parcel as it got stolen from the street (the photo from Evri, the courier you used, shows the parcel left it in the street, even though it fitted through our letterbox).
So, theft yes, but from us as a result of the incompetent behaviour of the courier.
I can assure you everything is made here in our workshop by me and a team of makers.
In the future, it may be better to contact the small business directly and find out what's happened. You will find most of the small businesses are honest, hard-working people with little interest in stealing from customers.

Im so disappointed in this service

Im so disappointed in this service. I ordered two dog fleeces which were significantly delayed in dispatch. Communication was very poor throughout. I requested someone call me numerous times and no one did. I even reached out directly to the shop as no one was responding to my emails.

I have since returned the items (well before Christmas) and have still not received my refund! I have chased with emails but have received no response.

Honestly, very poor service and I will not be recommending this company to anyone.

Missing order

I paid up front for 3 coats with Dogsnug. I was told delivery would be up to 2 weeks but normally sooner. 2 weeks past and I rang to check on delivery, I was told my order was sent to Nottingham even though I live in London!
Mistakes happen so I wasn't too worried as I was promised I would have my coats in a few days as they would be sent on from Nottingham. The owner said she would keep an eye on the tracking of the parcel. Another week past and still no parcel, I sent two further e.mails which were ignored. I finally got to speak to the owner today, I was told I was being unreasonable to expect the coats in time as other companies take up to 6 weeks to deliver even though her terms are delivery in two weeks. She refused to accept any responsibility for failing to deliver my items and she refuses to refund me. She still won't tell me when my coats will arrive or if a refund will be made. It will be 30 days this week since the order was placed. I have given this retailer every chance to put this right, I am so disappointed by her appalling attitude.

Wouldn't recommend at all

Wouldn't recommend at all. Owner took measurements of my dog for a custom size made sweater. Said would arrive in under a week. Took almost 2 to arrive, apparently it was raining where she was located -funny enough we are in the same city and we had a mini late autumn heatwave that week. When it finally arrived the sweater was way too big (remember she took measurements herself!) and shop owner said she might have sent the wrong sweater to me. Asked to send it back on her expense (I paid upfront at the post office but never got any money for postage back). When the new sweater arrived it was too small. It magically got shorter (which was never an issue anyways) and very small in the arms. It was rubbing her open with each step she took. I called this time and she basically hung up on me saying she was too busy to talk?! Ended up asking to send the sweater back AGAIN but I asked for a refund as it has been a month by now and I needed the sweater this season, not in summer. Wouldn't refund me (because it was made by measure - her measurements though!) and became a bit snappy over messages. Very poor customer service and poorly made jumper - when the second jumper arrived it had a tiny stain on the neck as well. (The dog would have made it dirty anyways but still...) After many messages over one month I decided to put the sweater in the bin. One thing to point out though - I bought a sweater with HER measurements on a different website shortly after she measured my dog and it fit like a glove. Definitely something wrong with her tailoring.

Hello, I'm sorry that our service did not work out for you, and we did everything we could to try to please you. READ ON if you would like to know our side of the story. Our jumpers are well loved by most people, and proof of this is all the reviews in our website. To clarify some of your points:

-when you called the shop it was very busy and we were serving customers, however as soon as we were less busy we called you back. We did not hang up, we asked if we could call you back.
-the jumper you received was too big (our mistake, mistakes happen), and we asked for photos of your dog wearing the jumper so we could correct our mistake and the photos were too close up and difficult to see the problem. I asked for clearer photos and never got them.
-we offered to refund your postage and to make a new one and you said you would rather write a bad review. We continued to communicate and you stopped replying.
-we kept in contact almost daily about the status of the jumper via messages as we always replied to your daily messages. Our tone was not snappy, but to the point as we were getting sometimes multiple messages from you in a day including weekends with the expectation of immediate answer. We are a very small company with a small team so it is not always possible to respond straight away.
-We make the jumpers by hand and wash them after making. So rain and humidity does affect the time they take to dry.

Once again we are sorry that the service you receive in this instance was not to your satisfaction, and the offer is still open to resolve the issue if you are open to it.
