Skye @ dreamlease made the process a doddle for my dad who isnt very good with technology. Thank you for a fantastic deal on the passat balck edition that turned out a main dealer could even match the lease deal. Overall a very happy customer.

7 weeks and no car !

ordered a car 06/03/26, ID5 which was an in-stock deal, finance took ages, by the time finance agreed, original car not available,order for another ID5 again in stock ,so order changed and till today 21/4 /26 no car , have to chase them down. This has never happened with my previous leasing with other companies. In stock car has arrived in 4-5 at best. I am now thinking of cancelling and going elsewhere as this process has just wasted my time and I will now have to rent a car. I would not recommend going with this leasing company.

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating the delays and communication must have felt.

To clarify, the date referenced (06/03/26) reflects when your finance application was submitted, rather than when a vehicle order was placed. In this instance, the finance provider required additional information, which unfortunately delayed approval. During that time, the vehicles included in the original offer sold out. While we do aim to make customers aware of this risk prior to submission, we completely appreciate how disappointing this outcome is.

Once your finance was approved, our team worked to secure a suitable alternative and liaised with dealers in an effort to honour the original offer where possible. As this fell outside of the standard process, it did take longer than we would have liked to finalise.

As discussed, we’re pleased we were able to secure an appropriate vehicle for you. We sincerely apologise for the overall delay and inconvenience caused, and if there’s anything further we can do to support you, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Car never arrived and I still don't have it

So far pretty poor show from DreamLease. I placed an order end of Feb / start of March for a vehicle that was going to be delivered by 31/03. For whatever reason this tipped into April which I wasn't fussed about, a delivery date was agreed for 14/04. Up to this point I have to say the service was really good, and communication with my sales advisor was easy. I booked the day off work to receive the vehicle and got a call in the morning to say it was on its way and would arrive around 1515. I waited around all day, only to get a call at 1545 to say they won't be delivering the car anymore as it has a warning light. No idea why they waited so late in the day. This by the way isn't a DreamLease fault, as the delivery agent is someone else. My frustrations have come since in contacting DreamLease to get this resolved and yet seemingly getting little to no updates, I am having to constantly chase to hear what's happening, 3 days later I still have no vehicle and no idea when I will receive a vehicle. There has been no effort to recover this, no loan vehicle or other compensation offered. I am totally in the dark despite my best efforts to understand what's going on and how long I'll have to wait.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and I’m really sorry for the frustration caused.

We’re pleased to hear that your experience with our sales team and communication up to the point of delivery was positive, but it’s clear that the situation on the day itself fell short of the standard we aim to provide.

As you rightly mentioned, the final stages of delivery are handled by the supplying dealer and their logistics partners. While we work closely with them, elements such as vehicle preparation, final safety checks, and transportation are unfortunately outside of our direct control. In this case, the decision not to deliver due to a warning light would have been made to ensure the vehicle met the required safety and quality standards before reaching you.

That said, we completely understand your disappointment, particularly given the late notice and the inconvenience of taking time off work.

As discussed, a hire vehicle is being delivered to you this afternoon so that you are not left without transport while this is being resolved.

Please be assured that we are continuing to liaise closely with the supplying dealer to resolve the issue with your vehicle as quickly as possible and will keep you updated every step of the way.

We genuinely appreciate your patience. If there’s anything further you’d like to discuss, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly.

First time trying lease vehicle…

First time trying lease vehicle contracts . So as you can imagine a bit apprehensive as regards going down this road. Spoke to dream leasing , and after a few hours decided to go a head with the contract of leasing with them . My specialist was a gentleman called Anoj Thayalaraj and the amount of help, support and guidance I received from him was unbelievable, apart from getting me a cracking deal , we felt as there was no hard sale or being forced in to signing a contract . My advice to anyone , do you research with dealers and other organisations, but would say give these guys a call as well . I will certainly be returning back to them in the near future .

First electric car lease

I’ve had a great experience so far with DreamLease for my first electric car lease. Martin was really clear, thorough, and quick to respond when going through the early stages of the leasing application. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone considering leasing a car.

Secured vehicle never materialised

Applied for a lease car weeks before my current lease car was due to be returned. All accepted with no issue and was told that the vehicle was secured. There was subsequently an issue with finance company creating the formal agreement for me to sign, which never materialised. I spent weeks chasing the agreement and was promised it several times, but eventually the salesperson stopped responding to me leaving me without a vehicle for weeks. Very poor and extremely inconvenient.

We understand how important it is for everything to progress smoothly, especially when you are transitioning from one vehicle to another, and it’s clear that in this instance, the process did not meet expectations. In particular, we apologise for the delays caused by the finance company in raising your finance agreement for signature. While we work closely with our finance partners, the creation of finance agreements sits with them, unfortunately this is not something we can directly control.

That said, we fully recognise how frustrating it must have been to repeatedly chase updates and not receive clear communication, and we are especially concerned to hear that you felt communication stopped altogether. That is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we take this feedback seriously.

We are reviewing this internally with both our team and the finance provider to understand what went wrong and to help prevent similar situations in the future.
