I ordered my dress April 14th 2024.

I understood it would take around 5 - 30 days to be shipped and I would get regular updates.
So far I have sent 2 emails asking for an update on the progress of my wedding dress on the support email address they provided.
Both have gone unanswered.

I am now becoming very concerned if I will ever receive my dress.

22/11/24 Update: I eventually received a dress a few weeks it looked nothing like the one I ordered. The quality was awful, there were bit of material hanging off, the style wasn't anything like the advert. I contacted for a refund, I returned the dress using the details they gave me. It cost me £25 for registered post. I sent them proof of postage.
I have never received a refund or heard from them again.
Don't waste your money buying from this company. Avoid Avoid!!!!!!

My package arrived quite quickly — It was precisely what the website had promised. These are well-made garments, so I received exactly what I see!

Cheap material, terrible fit. Tried to return and the company says they never received package with the dress. They make you pay for original shipping plus return shipping plus a fee. At the end they did not refund anything and I returned the dress. Wish I had read the reviews first.

The dress I got was beautiful, but it didn't fit right. When I put it on, the top was way too big. I have to pay an extra $115 for alterations on top of the $168 I spent on the dress. But it's totally worth it. Many people complimented the clothes for being beautiful.

The dress I ordered from the site fit me like a dream, especially considering it was ordered online. I'm 5"5, so it draped on the floor a bit, but that's exactly how I wanted it. But if you like your hemlines higher, you might wanna take it up 2 or 3 inches. My chest measures 38DDD. The dress itself feels silky with a quality touch. But heads up, the slit shoots all the way up to my chest. Far beyond my expectations.

Please save your money. Do not make the same mistake as I did. The dress sent to me looks nothing like the dress on the website. Material is very cheap. This is your wedding and you deserve much better. At least I learned my lesson. Look elsewhere smh. Money down the drain.

I found this site while my daughter was looking for her wedding dress. Thanks to it, I was able to find something that wroks great for me as a plus-figured lady! The sizing was a bit tricky and you need to be very careful when placing your order. But let me tell you, they have an useful custom-fitting option. They go above and beyond to make sure your gown fits you flawlessly. An extra bonus is that they can match the colors of bows, ties, and other accessories to your attire and have selections specifically for males. It's the icing on top of an amazing encounter with dressafford.

DressAfford is honest with the quality of its products. They emailed me lots of pictures of actual dresses. They provide timely and polite customer service. I will place another order with them for my upcoming event and will definitely recommend their business to friends and family.

I got a mermaid dress with my own measurements. I asked for an expedited shipping method. It absolutely fit me perfectly and arrived before the scheduled time. The dress was really well-made and only cost $200. Modest and elegant, no see-through at all. It was very breathtaking. Satisfied with my order.

Reasonably priced dresses, however, get ready for something different than what you ordered online. It doesn't always work out, but occasionally it does. In any case, confirm that you are OK with the return/reorder procedure or that you have a back-up plan in place. A SEAMSTRESS IS ALSO A MUST. These dresses will probably require some kind of adjustment. The color was slightly off but I was CONVINCED by the customer service rep that I received the color I ordered by emailing me pics of a pink color sample. I accepted the 20% refund for the color disobedience.

The wedding gowns I bought are professionally constructed. Every detail, even built-in bras has been taken into consideration. It was a pity that they did not have a try-on program. So it took a while before I decided to do business with this site. Comply with the size chart even if it doesn't look right for your typical size because the sizing is different.Will make another purchase from them. Customer service is good, really responsive, and helpful.

The dress was all but perfect.
It was slightly tight around arms but one visit to the seamstress and it was fixed.

I have sent this company two emails requesting a refund, since the dress ended up not looking good on me. They will not respond or process my return. I recieved my dress March 26th and emailed initially about a return within the 14-day return window. Still haven't heard back. Ridiculous you have to ask to return instead of letting you process it yourself. They're stealing from naive shoppers!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!THEY NEVER STARTED MY DRESS AND LIED TO ME ABOUT IT BEING FINISHED IN 24 TO 36 HOURS NEVER SENT ME TRACKING INFORMATION AND ISNT RESPONDING TO MY EMAILS. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. I PAID FOR EXPRESS TAILORING AND SHIPPING GOT NEITHER! DRESS HASNT EVEN BEEM UPDATED TO SHIPPED. AND THEY CLOSED MY SUPPORT TICKET WITHOUT GIVING ME ANY TRACKING INFO VERY SUSPICIOUS AND I BELIEVE THEY ARE A COMPLETE SCAM! IT IS NOW THE 3RD OF APRIL AND STILL NOTHING I WAS SUSPOSED TO HAVE MY DRESS BY THE 2ND! I WANT MY MONEY BACK WORST a WEBSITE EVER AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
Support Recently replied and completely ignored my request to cancel the order for a full refund which was offered days prior and sent a tracking number and it still hasn't shipped, says label was created this morning. This place is a complete rip off. Beware and stay clear!!

Like the other reviews I read, I would also give Dress Afford a negative 100 stars if I could. When my wedding dress arrived, it looked absolutely nothing like the pictures. It was poorly designed and looked like such a cheap version of the pictures. While they advertise an "easy return policy" it is far from easy. They say in their return policy that you can return the dress if you're unhappy and you just need to pay the return shipping fee. What they don't tell you is that the return shipping is $40 to $70, and they subtract the shipping fee that they paid to get it to me, even though they advertise "free shipping." While they were very responsive to emails, they were zero percent helpful in answering any of my questions or addressing my concerns. They were actually so friendly in their responses as they were telling me they weren't able to refund me my full amount that it just made me more mad. Then, when my package is finally returned to their facility, I had to email again about my refund. They had the return package for two weeks before they refunded me, and even then, I believe it was only because I emailed again. I wouldn't order from Dress Afford again if my life depended on it.

Email sent 3/2/23, after paying in full for 2 dresses on 1/30/2023…..

I appreciate the information, but I have NOTHING to WEAR and NEXT TO ZERO time to shop locally. I thought it would be here in time. Even in one of my first messages to you, I told you I had an event on February 18, 2023 AND March 4, 2023. I knew I doubtfully could order a dress and have it received by the 2/18/23 date but certainly was positive that the 3/4/23 deadline would be timely enough.

I literally want to cry. I should have been notified sooner. So as of today, Thursday, 3/2/23, my dresses (plural) are both incomplete and have not yet even been shipped to me? I didn’t willingly pay well in advance for dresses that were not going to be made or shipped.

I just need to understand so I can TRY to figure out how this terrible dropping of the ball could have happened. Thank GOD, it’s not my wedding dress, but just the same, Saturday is a big deal to me.

Please let me know when my dresses are being packed for shipment and where they are being shipped from.

If they do not go out in next day shipping today, I will not even receive them by Saturday morning, as I have to travel a few hours for the Saturday gala later in the day.

Buyers Beware!!!!

All the 1 star reviews tell the facts. As of 3/12/24 (over a year later) nothing from the company. Not a call, not an email, not a refund. Nothing!!!!

They send the wrong dress and wouldn’t provide a refund! I’ve been trying to get a return completed for months and only get automated responses.

I was promised a partial
refund after much negotiation. NO refund received and now they don’t answer my emails. Surprise surprise!!! I have contacted them over 20 times. No answers.

Regarding your reply to the shipping fees for the wedding dress. It's true you emailed me back and forth after I ordered the dress. My purpose for the review is to inform others before they make a purchase and not be surprised as I was. Thank you for your responses, I just would have liked to have known ahead of time so I could make a more informed decision.
