Professionally delivered course with fresh and up to date information designed to encourage change of approach to create more
safe drivers and reduce the consequences of speed.

There was no option to test connectivity before the course. It was only after I connected for the course 10 minutes before the start that I was told that my camera didn't provide a clear enough image. I was just told to get another device - 5 minutes before the start of the course.
This was very poor service. How hard would it be to provide a test connection which would give a customer the ability to test functionality days before the course and give people the opportunity to do something about it?
The course itself and the trainer were excellent.

The speed awareness course was informative and useful. Delivered by a very good trainer.

I chose the online course for convenience to avoid getting points. Getting the course was relatively easy. Setting it up was easy though I prefer Zoom to Teams. Registration was easy, the trainer was welcoming. The other participants were nice.
The course was good and I learned more than I expected and it gave me a better appreciation and awareness for driving.

Our instructor John Gouldborune was fantastic from start to finish! Can't rate him high enough. Great course.

You are treated like a normal person who just needs a bit more information on road and speed laws. Excellent information and very useful knowledge.

I had my course yesterday, my trainers name was John. He was polite, helpful and engaged with us all. I have come away with a good refresher on certain areas I had forgotten.

Superbly run course. Made me really think and lovely to engage online. The trainer was so skilled with a group of people who didn't know him or each other but he encouraged everyone to engage in a sensitive way and we had thought provoking discussions. Best way to educate us all on such an important topic. I'd attend other courses!

I welcomed the opportunity to attend on line as it saved a considerable amount of time that would have been incurred attending in person.

The course is non judgemental and genuinely aimed at teaching,and altering attitudes towards speeding. It achieved this by breaking the course into logical headings and these were filled with interesting bite sized facts. Each attendee had the opportunity to speak. I think everyone should have to do the course after driving for a while although this might not be practical. We all have a duty to be responsible for the safety of others on the road.

Practical - knowledgeable - friendly

Was not looking forward to my Speed awareness course but was made to feel very comfortable as soon as it started.

I had been told by others the speed awareness courses were very good and genuinely useful and they were absolutely right! I was very impressed and enjoyed the course which I wasn’t really expecting. Both the trainers were excellent and I would highly recommend attending in person.

Drivetech delivered an easy to understand course. I used my IPad and Microsoft Teams. Very easy to set up. Just set yourself up in a quiet room, headphones etc. no distractions. Paper and pen at the ready as you will need to hold your answers to questions up to the camera. This is so that they know you are engaging with the course instructor and actually listening. I know it’s not what you want to be doing for three hours but it’s a great reminder about speed signs , dangers etc. You can get complacent the older you get.

This was a highly professional course both in content and delivery. No time was wasted and the material was challenging, interesting and impactful. The trainer handled the various personalities and sought feedback appropriately so as to maintain engagement as well as being helpful where individuals had practical difficulties. A thoroughly worthwhile few hours!

Such a well thought out course. I felt I learnt a number of important things to consider when I’m driving, and a number of helpful hints, to hopefully make me more thoughtful and safe when I’m behind the wheel.
