Everyone was great

Everyone was great, fast and friendly service and they did everything they could to get us the best deal. Helped with getting us car insurance without breaking the bank!

They knowingly sell lemons

I purchased a car in September 2025. In February 2026 it was discovered that a recall was never remedied 20,000 miles ago. I went into action and took it to a certified Ford dealer, and asked Drivetime to send me my warranty info. Their only response was that it was in the docusign email, which I did not have, and they did not send me again. I had to walk in there and beg for the paperwork. The initial 30 day warranty and 5 day takesy-backsy is garbage and they know it. Only by driving it for a few months will all the issues come out. Unfortunately, the 5-year, 50 thousand mile DriveCare that I purchased is all dried up with this one repair (oh, it was the engine. Yep, the ENGINE), and I can't even get a partial reimbursement for the rental car I have had now for 3 weeks. I won't see my car for another week at least, and I still owe a deductible and the remaining $323 that my warranty wouldn't cover. And the dreadful canned response that will undoubtedly follow this review will prove that they really don't give a shit about their customers.

People were very nice

People were very nice. Was very easy the car i wanted was on lot. Very nice selection of cars.Love Alex Fraser he explain everything to us. He made sure we were comfortable.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a car from DriveTime, and I cannot say enough about the exceptional experience I had from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Grace, one of the salespeople. Her professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care made the entire process smooth and enjoyable.

Grace took the time to understand my needs and preferences, guiding me through the various options available. She was incredibly patient, answering all my questions and providing detailed information about each vehicle. Her expertise and friendly demeanor made me feel confident and comfortable throughout the entire process.

John was the reason that I decided to purchase a car through Drivetime. His personal service and honesty were the key factors that helped me make my decision. He was not pushy and told me everything upfront that was needed and would take place during the purchasing process. He even went to DMV and sat with me to ensure all paperwork was correct.

It truly was different than any other experience I have encountered purchasing a car and I highly recommended going through Drivetime Bradenton FL for your next purchase. Thanks John and Drivetime.

Awesome, but dirty.

So, I loved the employee who helped me buy the car. I would like to add, when you sell a vehicle, first impression is everything. The car had water stains all in the clear coat. There were so many leaves under the hood and in the trunk. The carpets were sandy and dirty. I wanted the car, regardless. I asked that the leaves and dirt get vacuumed. Thank you. The car was so full of pollen. They stated they could not wash the car because the water spicket was broken. Manatee county has 5000(Let's just say a lot) car wash locations. Always find a way to finish the sale with a bang. It costs me $60 in cleaning compounds to remove the water stains. 2 hours to remove the water stains and 2 hours to buff it correctly. Plus, I had to go the car wash myself. Redo a vacuum and manually remove pollen accumulation. The car looks brand new now. I plan on keeping it that way. I would just like to add that when cars are on the lot, you should make them look acceptable.

Bought a 2015 Hundai Santa Fe

Bought a 2015 Hundai Santa Fe. Car seemed fine on the test drive. 3 days later warning lights for the brakes. Took it to the recommended repair place and all brakes and sensors were bad. $ 1350 luckily no cost. 2 months later an intermittent engine light. Then a oil smell from under the hood. Took it to the recommended repair place and the list is as follows
1. Valve cover Gasket $ 413
2. Serpentine belt and tensioner $490
3. AC discharge line $270
They covered up these problems just enough to sell the car and the Silverrock gap insurance won't cover any of it.
Won't ever buy from them again.

Awesome Job

Agent John at the Bradenton location was incredibly pleasant and passionate. He was easy to work with, answered all my questions, and explained that I needed to call the insurance to add the vehicle. My time there was the shortest I've ever had when purchasing a vehicle. I was there for maybe a total of 2 1/2 hours, and that was only because I needed to go get the funds to make the purchase. I would go through the whole process again without hesitation. Great job, John! I will specifically ask for you on our next purchase for my husband, as he's interested in a truck. Thanks again.
