I invested well over $10,000 in The Ecom Family Academy over several years, purchasing multiple programs including Gift Giving Takeover, Winners Circle, AI Task Force, and Infinity. This review comes from someone who genuinely participated in the programs and spent significant time working through the material.
The good: the training itself is solid for beginners. If you're completely new to eCommerce, print-on-demand, or dropshipping, you'll learn the fundamentals. I launched both a POD store and a dropshipping store and was able to generate sales using what I learned.
The downside is what happened after joining.
One of my biggest frustrations was what felt like constant gatekeeping. It often seemed like the most valuable information and opportunities were reserved for a small group of favored members rather than the students who had already invested thousands of dollars. That became increasingly discouraging over time.
We were also told that Gift Giving Takeover and AI Task Force would include lifetime access with ongoing weekly training. In reality, the consistency of those live classes has declined significantly. Gift Giving Takeover frequently goes weeks without classes, and AI Task Force has also seen a noticeable decline in the amount of live training offered.
The courses themselves are almost entirely beginner-focused. Once you've mastered the basics, there isn't much advanced material to continue growing. I also remember repeated promises about teaching Google Ads in depth, but that training never materialized during my time in the programs.
Another disappointment was the constant upselling. It seemed like there was always another program, mastermind, or membership to buy. After spending thousands already, I expected more value to be delivered through the programs I had already purchased rather than being encouraged to buy the next offer.
The Facebook communities exist but are not especially active, and I didn't find them to be a major source of ongoing support.
Overall, I don't regret learning the basics, but knowing what I know today, I would not spend this amount of money again. With today's AI tools and the vast amount of high-quality free and low-cost education available online, I believe most beginners can learn the same foundational skills without investing thousands of dollars.
If you're brand new to eCommerce, Gift Giving Takeover may still provide a structured starting point. However, if you're looking for advanced strategies, ongoing mentorship, or a program that continues to evolve after you've learned the basics, I believe there are better options available today.
