This is the worst dating site I have ever been on... how can it be number 1???
I haven’t seen one decent man on here within my radius to contact and have been sent men out of my age bracket and miles away to compensate.
Same men all the time.
Never have I been contacted or me contact them.
Now unemployed and e harmony says I can’t unsubscribe.

Only have long memberships. Obviously don't believe in their own app. Stay away from this app or don't get sucked into a subscription.

Scam. Be careful. Hardly any matches. Closed my account and they continued to bill me close to $500! Requested refund but they refused! Stay away!!! Use other sites like hinge or bumble

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! This service is utterly rubbish, hardly any matches and the quality of them is appalling. I stupidly signed up for premium because if you don't you can't actually do anything on the site or see any of the photos and I thought I would be able to cancel this after I changed my mind (a cooling off period) but no way are they giving me my money back, its like $215 down the drain. Disgusting crooks do not use this so called service

Townsville - 14 men in a 60mile (100km) radius. Definitely not worth joining
Darwin - 7 men in a 100km radius
Cairns - 12 men in a 100km radius
Toowoomba - 32 men in a 100km radius

Melbourne and Brisbane both seemed to have a decent number of members. But overall the quality of men was poor. Many profiles didn't have photos. Many were not properly fille out.

Eharmony is a complete waste of money if you live in Australia. Plus messaging is a paid membership as is searching my location.

This is the worst dating app ever. They are a fraud. They are making you fill up a lengthy questionnaire fine. Then they are not following your criteria’s at all... plus old profiles, most profiles have no photos. So many scammers in two months I had at least 10. When I tried to cancel. They mentioned that I was obliged to be with them for a year. Beware. They are not genuine

The good.
The site has a fairly wide selection of genuine and real people. Yes you get contacts from many people you aren't interested in but I take it as a compliment. The matching is really quite useless and has had no bearing on compatibility for me. It really is a computer algorithm compared to real life feelings. The main thing is to chat to see and then meet. The site definitely gives you a chance to make genuine contact and the rest is up to you. All in all I am happy with the site.

The bad.
And this is a BIG one. You will probably sign up with a discount deal,$250 for 6 months and then forget about it but then the full price automatic 12 month renewal will kick in and it is expensive, close to $1000. There is NO way of unsubscribing on the site. You have to do it in writing to eharmony HQ. They say by letter but you can do it by email, just search to find the email address. Then you wait for their response to confirm you won't be auto renewed. I would strongly recommend you do as I did and send this request in at the same time you sign up and save the response and you should have a good experience. Having said that it should be available on the site and it a shame because it gives a scam feel to what is otherwise a very good site.

When signing up with this site you are automatically set for a re subscription
When trying to delete the app it is impossible so you will be debited for re subscription. I was ripped off $790 for a 12 month subscription which I never subscribed for in the first place.

Worst dating site I have been on. For no reason at all eharmony deleted my account. I was chatting to someone for a while, left the site and found when I returned I no longer had an account. I have been on other sites and had a lot of contacts anc had very few on this site. Wasted my money. Paid for six months and got three.

Whilst you can change your mind and cancel a new premium plan in the first 14 days, you will be charged £65 for a personality profile. They do not make this clear in their Ts and Cs.

The designers of eHarmony clearly know nothing about the process of blocking, removing contacts and ghosting. They need to give careful consideration to how to differentiate between someone's bad behaviour or misconduct and just simply not finding someone attractive. If you simply don't like someone, you should be able to block him/her, not 'remove the contact'. Customers shouldn't feel punished for not being attractive enough. I know this is hard to understand eHarmony, but since you are a date site and not a swiping app, you need to be more sensitive to the discarding phase.

Scam, they would not let me cancel after only joining for 10 mins. Now I’m paying for 12 months over $600.00. DONT SIGNUP. Con men.

Was desperate for love and of course signed up for a 6 month subscription and paid $220+. Did not realise it was auto renewed for 12 months ($670) without even sending a friendly reminder or notice before they charge you. Stay away from this dating app. Customer service is soo bad, it seems like all emails are auto-generated. Stay away from their shady business terms & conditions. Only used for 1 month as the matches were not accurate and now paying for a service in advance that I won't be using in the next 12 months.

Absolutely shocking scam of a company which you don't expect from a big brand.
I too have been scammed out of £65- this is not a reasonable charge and they have not been transparent in their dealings so like others I shall pursue this with Trading Standards and I suggest everyone does the same, to stop this practice of preying on people.

I have never felt more wronged by a company than when dealing with eHarmony. I first signed up for the paid experience on a 6-month $22.95 per month plan for a total of $137.70. Obviously if you were dealing with an ethical company you could assume that you were now signed up for a plan that cost 137.70 every six months. Well unfortunately eHarmony is anything but ethical. After the 6 months I was charged a fee of $550.80 with no warning of this price change! After immediately requesting a refund I was informed this is only possible in certain USA states and that I was out of luck. According to the eHarmony representatives I have spoken to, all plans when they automatically renew change price and length to a 1 year plan. This is not mentioned anywhere on the signup or payment page, I was helpfully informed that this should have been emailed to me after I paid (It never was). I regret ever dealing with eHarmony and seriously hope other people can avoid my mistakes.

Eharmony have performed an unauthorised transaction in my account. After confirming a cancellation of a subscription they then proceeded to steal money from my account. Now they are not responding to my requests for a refund. Very bad company.
