We are incredibly grateful to Girish Vocab and English Maths Resources for the outstanding support throughout our 11+ journey.

The resources were especially helpful in preparing for the 11+ entrance exams for Queen Elizabeth's School (QE) and Wilson's School.

We are genuinely very grateful for the 11+ Maths and English books written by Girish. They played a big part in my son’s preparation and really helped build both his skills and his confidence over time.

What I particularly appreciate is the way the questions gradually increase in difficulty. There is a clear progression, so children are stretched without feeling overwhelmed. I would say the level is just a notch above what you typically see for leading state grammar schools... but in a good way. It pushes them slightly further, which ultimately makes the actual exams feel more manageable and less intimidating.

Beyond the books, Girish’s practical advice on Facebook based on his own experience preparing his children was incredibly helpful. His insights around preparation, consistency and mindset gave us clarity as parents... especially during moments when the journey felt uncertain.

The vocabulary app also deserves special mention. It didn’t feel like traditional rote learning. It was almost like playing a game, but at the same time he was absorbing advanced vocabulary naturally. He actually enjoyed using it (which isn’t something you often say about 11+ prep!) and it made a noticeable difference.

Another big positive is the affordability. Compared to many commercially available 11+ resources, these books are very reasonably priced and offer excellent value.

Thanks in no small part to these books and the guidance my son has secured a place at QE. We would happily recommend these resources to any parent preparing their child for competitive 11+ exams.

Fantastic books with detailed information that is easy for the children to understand and follow. We have bought the vocabulary books, maths and Spags books. Definitely recommend..thank you so much for these books. There is a new book 6 maths book, I will be ordering soon. These books has given my daughter confidence with maths working out, I make sure she reads it through before she starts each exercise. Great books and dont stop writing these books!

Girish's Maths books explains maths topics clearly, step by step, and gives lots of practice questions to build confidence and speed. I really like the “tips and traps” pages- they teach the little tricks you need in real exams. Some questions are challenging, which is good for stretching reasoning skills. Overall, an excellent book for students preparing seriously for the 11+.

One thing that stands out is the author himself. Girish is very approachable and always answers queries quickly which is really assuring for parents and students.

Excellent, amazing, perfect and unique. This effort deserves all the praise words in the vocabulary. One and only math books my twins would eagerly wait to listen to as a story book. Vocabulary app is a life saver for busy schedules of our kids during 11 plus preparations phase. Cherry on top is Girish’s tips on Facebook group and solutions for parents.

All the books are so well written and self explanatory as well. We relied heavily on elevenplusvocab for our 11 plus journey. My son passed all his exams with flying colours. If you are a parent who don’t know where to start , this the answer for all your doubts.

Excellent collection of books. My favourites are the Algebra maths book, the poetry comprehension was very useful. Also the QE mock papers were good stretch compared to the real exam which helps keep the kids well prepared. The vocab app/books are also very useful

The EPV Maths Books and SPaG Book are the one set of resources I would recommend to everyone preparing for the 11+ and KS2 SAT. They are very easy to follow, with bite‑sized sections in each chapter that make learning manageable and less overwhelming.
Each concept is explained in a language children can understand and follow with ease. The way the books are written feels almost like reading an English storybook. The author speaks directly to the children, guiding them step by step. Even the more difficult topics, such as fractions, percentages and algebra, are broken down into simple, clear lessons that make them approachable and achievable.
Together, these books create a child‑friendly, confidence‑building path through tricky subjects, turning preparation into something engaging and effective.

Materials provided are consistently of a high standard, formatted in a way that makes it easy for children to learn and follow. Highly recommend them. Great value for money. Thank you Girish for your efforts in creating them.

My daughter absolutely loved Girish Chaudhary's books, especially his Maths books. We bought ALL of them and eagerly awaiting the release of book 6!
Girish has a unique way of writing his books and it feels like we can hear his voice through his books actually teaching at the level of a child (and parents alike!), interspersed with hilarious anecdotes = perfect recipe for engaging kids!! He starts from the very basic and builds up to more challenging levels. It's easy to write in complicated talk, but to simplify a complex topic/s requires skill. His books will teach you, push you, motivate you, challenge you whilst taking you deeper into each topic, and also entertain you! The detailed explanations are really helpful and I've never seen as many practice questions as are presented in his books! My daughter passed high in all her exams and Girish's Maths books were a constant companion. His books were the first she reached for with the same level of excitement as she would a piece of cake, which helped us to get going with our revisions sessions with delight instead of dread.

WOW, this has really helped me a lot, I got into QE boys grammar school, St. paul’s School and Westminster School because of it. It is the best thing out there for children who want a great experience with the 11+ exams and is interactive and challenging, but also the explanations and methods are excellent.
