We are landlords and we recently approached Ellis Jones in Bournemouth. We used Luke and his assistant, Lorna, for the conveyancing on our buy-to-let flat purchase, and I honestly couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I've dealt with five or six different conveyancing solicitors over the last 8–10 years, and Luke is by far the best solicitor I've ever used.

From the very beginning, they made the whole process feel seamless. Luke gave us so much of his time, particularly when it came to going through all of the property enquiries. I was able to speak to him directly on the phone, and he took the time to explain everything thoroughly and, more importantly, made sure we actually understood it. I've never experienced that level of personal service from a solicitor before.

Everything was explained clearly, and towards the end we met with Luke in person. He went through the entire property pack with us and explained exactly what everything meant and where our money was going. It was incredibly helpful and gave us complete confidence in what we were doing.

Even when Luke went on holiday for a week, he worked extra hours beforehand to make sure everything was dealt with and there were no unnecessary delays. As soon as he returned, he was straight back on the case.

Luke and Lorna were both incredibly helpful, professional and approachable throughout the whole process. The level of communication and attention to detail was exceptional.

We initially chose Ellis Jones because their quote was significantly lower than the other solicitors we approached. However, we also had previous experience with them, as they had dealt with my father's will and Power of Attorney. That gave us a level of trust and confidence from the outset that the quote we were given was what we would actually pay, without unexpected fees being added along the way. Thankfully, that proved to be exactly the case.
