Absolutely unacceptable experience with eMall / Pearl.
I received a 15 kg item with a glass panel completely shattered upon delivery. The damage was visible immediately; the product was unusable from the start. I contacted customer service right away with clear explanations.
Despite this, eMall incorrectly classified my case as “Nichtgefallen” (change of mind) instead of a damaged delivery, apparently just to avoid taking responsibility. They refused to provide a prepaid return label and repeatedly insisted that I must pay the return shipping myself—for a product that arrived broken.
Customer service was slow, dismissive, and only available in German, making the process unnecessarily difficult. Even after multiple emails, they continued to deny responsibility and sent contradictory information.
In the end, I had no choice but to initiate a credit card chargeback to protect myself as a consumer.
If you value your time, money, and basic consumer rights, do not shop here. This is one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve had.
