EMA Patient Transport Opiniones 

I looked at many reviews before booking EMA to transport my Mum from West London to Eastbourne to come and live with me. She has been housebound for six years and lived on the second floor in flats which had no lift and concrete stairs, with not much space to manoeuvre on the way down. When I rang around different companies, from the start EMA stood out, as Michelle called me back and said the quote had been sent and to say that whoever I booked transport with it was a good idea to give my Mum a sickness tablet, as she may not be used to traveling. Something I’d never thought of! Prices were much of a muchness with companies, but searching for a company with comfortable up to date immaculately clean vehicles and excellent reviews, EMA I thought were the best option. On the day, Sam called me to say where they were on route and when he arrived with Julie, they were so friendly and constantly reassured my sister and I, that everything would be fine, as we were both very anxious. They both got Mum down the stairs with ease (and this was no easy feat). Mum was strapped safely into a chair on the way down the stairs and they secured her into a chair facing me in the ambulance, so she could see me and was reassured on the journey. Julie drove the vehicle smoothly all the way and it was a very comfortable ride (and that is saying something along the M25). I chatted to Sam in the vehicle who was professional, friendly and very experienced in his role. We arrived in Eastbourne and they made sure Mum was comfortable at home in her chair before leaving. I can't really explain on this review how good they were, my sister was crying when we left London, as this was another chapter in Mum's life, Sam and Julie were so reassuring and had empathy with her. The vehicle was spotless, the care was amazing and lead up to the journey was proactive. Mum is 96 and I could not have chosen a better company to look after her than EMA. Don't bother looking anywhere else, take my word for it, they are excellent!

Sam and Julie were the epitome of kindness and professionalism in moving my frail, 95 year old Mum from hospital in Bognor Regis to her new (Care) home in Worcester. The whole service, from making an initial enquiry with the Poole office to my Mum being 'delivered' to her new home was seamless and one in which I would happily place my trust again.

The lady in the office couldn’t have been more helpful when I made an initial enquiry and then when I booked. The team that came were absolutely lovely - we were transferring my 97yr old stepfather to different care home. My sister who is registered blind was with me and they were extremely helpful with that too. Amazing service and worth every penny.

I cannot thank Neil and Matt enough for their kindness, compassion and care over mum, who has Alzheimer's.

From their first interactions with mum they quickly gained her trust and although mum is at the stage that she doesn't always respond to others, she engaged with them fully and with big smiles. In their 'moving and handling', they kept mum informed exactly what they were doing, and why, and sought her permission. All was carried out with expertise and care

The actual journey lasted just over 1.5 hours and we did the journey in convoy. Mum was smiling broadly as they shut the doors at the start of the trip and upon opening she was still smiling broadly.

Mum made it obvious she didn't want them to go, telling both that she loved them.

My initial contact with Michelle, their Patient Transport Co-ordinator was dealt with in a very warm, professional and efficient manner. The quote was with me within minutes of our call, as was the booking, confirmation, etc. And Matt rang me about 45 minutes before to update me on their ETA which was about 10 minutes early.

My overall impression of EMA is that they employ people who take great pride in their work and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Moving my mother - who has advanced dementia- into a nursing home was a tough decision. I expected the day of the move to be very emotional and distressing - I needn’t have worried… from the word go Sam and Julie put us at ease. They arrived on time having updated us a couple of times to let us know where they were - Once they arrived nothing was too much trouble . They were courteous and professional and mindful at all times of the potential for my mother ( and me!) to get distressed . They introduced themselves to her and chatted to her every step of the way. The journey was every bit as calm- and felt more like a day trip out- with Sam chatting quietly to me and my mother as we made our way…
Once arrived - Sam and Julie delivered my mother safely to her room. Sam then returned to the ambulance and came back carrying my mother’s luggage and a box of papers - Leaving me free to settle her in.
I can’t thank Sam and Julie enough for their assistance and the kindness they showed towards us all. Without their calm intervention and great sensitivity to the situation the process could’ve been so much worse.

My husband (80 yrs and dementia sufferer who lost his sight 6 years ago) was transported from Chertsey to Battersea. He was very calm and content when he arrived at his destination and completely confident and relaxed when moved into his new care home. I can hardly believe how caring, professional and sympathetic Sam and his co worker were. I would happily rate them 10 Star. Have no reservations these guys can be trusted 110% with your loved one.

They telephoned to let me know they could come earlier than arranged which suited me. They couldn’t have been more helpful, kind, patient and friendly.

I booked an ambulance to take my elderly cousin and I to a care home. They arrived at the property on time, were both extremely professional and reassured both of us throughout the whole process. I cannot recommend this company enough.

Ambulance took my terminally ill mother to nursing home. They arrived exactly on time and were very attentive to Mum’s comfort. I was able to ride in the ambulance with her. Steve and Sophie helped Mum out of her bed at home and delivered her to her room in the nursing home and helped her into bed before leaving.

Professional, compassionate team who listen to clients needs and requirements. Highly recommend their services to anyone who is looking for comfortable journey.

From the booking process which involved moving my elderly mother from a Surrey care home nearer to where I live in Bath was brilliant from start to finish. Sam and Julie who escorted my mother on her journey were so kind and professional. I think my mother really enjoyed her trip. I cannot Thankyou enough and would thoroughly recommend.

I cannot speak too highly of the excellent service we received yesterday when my husband was transferred to a care home. I was apprehensive about it but there was no need as Steve T and Debbie took great care of things and it went very smoothly. Would have no hesitation in using you in the future.

Great service by Steve T and Debbie in transferring a client to a new home. They supported physically and emotionally, taking great care. Would definitely use them again if it was needed.

The team were great, couldn’t have managed without the equipment to get mum to hospital appointment. Friendly, professional arrived on time. Made what would have been a stressful experience a whole lot easier.

It was so lovely to have Sam from EMA transport came and visit us at Chertsey Parklands Manor care home last week. He let the staff and residents look in the ambulance and answered any questions they had. I would highly recommend EMA transport if you need a private ambulance to transport a loved one.
