Disorganised, Disappointing, and Lacking in Transparency
I was initially drawn to EMSEE because of their promise of flexibility and specialised support for women during menopause — but the reality was incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
There were constant changes to fees and appointment scheduling, with no clear communication about what was being charged or why. Medicare rebates were never passed on, despite being advertised as part of the service, and it often took repeated follow-ups to get any clarity.
Calls went unanswered, and even after selecting the callback option, no one ever returned my call. Meanwhile, I received automated and conflicting text messages — one saying my medication had been sent, another saying my prescription had expired, followed by messages about missed payments. It felt completely disorganised and impersonal.
This is especially disappointing coming from a healthcare provider that claims to support women during menopause — a time when clear communication, compassion, and consistency should be a priority.
I hope EMSEE reflects on their approach and prioritises genuine care and support for their clients in the future.
