Dropped off my car Friday evening has it was in first thing Saturday morning for mot and service...I've been a customer with them for many years now so when I walked in they new my name without me even having to give it to them which is a nice personal touch....my car was ready on time on the Saturday too..washed and vacuumed...and the guy who was looking after me was nice too..so happy days all round.....

Iain made switching my car very easy. Car delivered inspected and all paperwork delivered on time. No hassle

Purchased a used car from the Altrincham branch. The mileage was incorrect. Advertised as having 500 miles less than it actually had done. Once in receipt of the vehichle we discovered a huge hole in the side wall of the tyre exposing the fibres which had been disguised with the valeting process. Reported the issue and was told the tyre would be exchanged and they swapped the continental tyre for a cheap £80 version. Despite reading that two different tyres on the front of a vehicle can compromise the safety of it, the Manager was very rude and we had to pay an extra £75 to have a continental tyre put back on. Woukdnt recommend or use again.

On time, on budget and good communication

I recently bought my Audi from Evans Halshaw Ford Altrincham. The start of the process was great having made a phone call about the car and I get all the answers and information I needed, however once arriving there to view and test drive the car. I got told they open at 9am which I got there for 9:30am after a 2 hour drive to sit there for 30 minutes because they didn’t actually open till 10am. From working in the industry myself at bmw once we got sat down we didn’t even get offered anything to drink we had to asked and help ourselves, after looking around the car we found a lot of stone chips, scratches and small dent I asked if they could negotiate on the price a little and got a very rude no! From the sales person and still wouldn’t after I told them I wanted to purchase the 3 year warranty which wasn’t cheap to start with. For the test drive the sale person took us to get fuel first and didn’t even bother to wear there seatbelt which I found very unprofessional, the car does drive very well and is very smooth. The process of actually paying for the car as I was waiting for paper work to be done the sale person then had to go and someone else took over to deal with me and after paying for that car they then said they don’t have the logbook for the car which is something you would never except a big dealership not to have. So at this point I’m sat thinking they don’t really care at all about the customers and I was really annoyed as when I phoned I asked multiple times about can I take the car the same day as that’s what I needed and then for this time happen, luckily the manager came over and said he would said someone to go to a post office so the car would be taxed obviously I still had to pay for this even though at this point I had been there for over 3 hours. I thought coming to a dealer like this would have been a hassle free environment but it was the opposite and it has definitely put me off buying a car from them in the future and would not recommend them because it like they couldn’t care less if you buy a car or you don’t.
