Had a bad experience with Evans Halshaw Coatbridge. Got a car from Aidan and before buying the car was advised there was scratch and chip on the front bumper but both of these would be “sorted” before buying. When I came to collect the car the issue hadn’t been sorted so spoke to the manager on the day, a salesman called Lewis tried to polish the mark out before we got the car but explained that wasn’t going to work. The manager explained if I brought the car in the following week they would get it “sorted”. They had the car for a day and half and when I came to collect the issue looked no different the chip was attempted to be coloured in by what I could describe as a completely different colour to the car but when I complained to Adian who I had been dealing with apparently there is a company policy not to fix an issue like that on a car that age regardless of price. And with the chip being a different colour that was obviously going to be the case. There was no explanation of company policy before the car was purchased and I’ll be honest I think it looks terrible now the car is been bought there is a company policy that hand not been mentioned before. I think that Aidan could do with more training but after speaking to the manager Cameron I can understand where faults in his work are coming from.
I was charged £20 for fuel before purchase which hand not been added to the car se we had to follow an employee to the next petrol station to fill. Over all a terrible experience I which looking to take further

Bought a used car from this dealership and was told upon the purchase of the car that it would be ready a few days later. We then prepare to head down to collect the car on the collection date and at this point they tell us the repairs and preparations needing done to the car have only just been started. This further delayed the collection by multiple days. We then drove to the dealership at a later date to collect the car only for the scratches to still be left on the car and the inside still dirty with chewing gum packets in between the seats. This caused a further delay totalling to 11 added days from the agreed time of purchase to leaving with the car. Now that it has reached the hot days in the summer 7 weeks after collecting the car, the air conditioning does not work and is costing extra money as they do not include it in the warranty or inform us that it didn’t work prior to purchasing.

I recently bought my new Ford Capri from Lewis, and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. From the first conversation through to collection, Lewis was friendly, knowledgeable, and never made me feel under any pressure. He took the time to answer all my questions and made the process straightforward and enjoyable. I'm absolutely loving the car already, and I'm looking forward to many years of happy motoring with it. Jamie excellent selling car even though sales manager took the car away on holiday for a week b4 handover, putting that aside car is lovely to drive, at point of collection there was no 2nd key as they could not find it or had been lost, it was agreed on handover that a new key would be ordered if it was not found and would then be forwarded by post, today Friday I get an aggressive phone call from Andrew demanding I send a sceeensot of the old cars V5 which had already been sold and customer coming to collect, it was pointed out to Andrew that the agreement has not yet been met and phone call ended, after a few calls later lets say Andrew should be sent on a customer care and anger management course!!

I think this was the worst car buying experience, I initially placed deposit for my 3 year old used car. The video I was sent from Andrew sales advisor, that there was no scratches dents on etc in the video I was sent as I was located 270 miles away from this garage. I then traveled all the way to collect the car and the condition was in a very poor state with lots of marks all around the car etc. I had to walk away and they said they will then get the car fully machined polished in order to remove all the marks and painted all the deeper imperfections. I came back 2 weeks later to collect the car again and on collection, the cars sunroof was not working, the driver mirror cap casing was cracked and water ingress was happening. I was promised by Andrew that this will sorted at my local ford dealer and he said that he will contact them directly. It’s been over 3 weeks and the car is sitting at ford Wolverhampton still awaiting approval for the parts. I would like this to be escalated as this was a very poor. I raised a complaint with evanshalaw and they have still not responded even if I’ve chased them.

Was sold a car not fit for purpose. Not even a year of driving it the engine has completely failed. Emailed you's and still no reply. Selling cars unfit for purpose. I will never use this lot again. Anyone reading this avoid at all cost.. conmen. That is all

Do not even go near this place very pushy from the start as a young girl buying my first car I was totally ripped off. Pressured into buying the extended warranty which I paid a large amount for EH can never get you booked in for about a month or 2 later for any services and only to be fighting everytime I need to make a claim never once have they paid out and very cheeky when contacted so for a £10k car I have had to pay around £5-6k in fixing the car not even a year in absolute shambles. Not forgetting they put the wrong plates on my car and I was only driving about illegally for nearly a week until I realised they didn’t quite match the documents. Which I the had to pay to change insurance and travel back and forth waiting around for hours wasting my time!

Feel conned into buying a service plan and guarantee. Will only help you if it's within 30 days of purchasing the car even if you discover a fault after that time and it's clear it's been there since purchase. Found a pool of water under the boot floor clearly been sitting there for a long time but wouldn't cover fixing the issue. Guarantee doesn't cover it either. Avoid!
