First time using Evan’s Halshaw Leicester and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the welcome upon arrival to the whole sale and part exchange process. Tariq is one of the friendliest and most hard working guys we have ever met. From the minute one he couldn’t have done more for us to make the whole process go smoothly.

Terrible place buy at your peril second hand car waste of time bought second hand car from these cost me 4000 to put it right timing chain knackered turbo wastegate clutch flywheel should be shut down danger to your wallet and of course waranty covers none of these items you can see why this company is on borrowed time cant you should closed down absolutely awfull company

Vehicle mis-sold despite “123-point Quality Inspection”
I purchased a used vehicle from Evans Halshaw, advertised as having passed a “Quality Assured Inspection”, a “Background & Status Check”, and a 123-point quality inspection checklist, which is supposed to ensure the vehicle is adequate and fit for sale.
Despite this, I later discovered the car had missed a major manufacturer-required service (wet belt replacement) while it was in the dealership’s ownership — a critical service item that can lead to serious engine failure.
In addition, the vehicle was returned under warranty for steering-related faults, which I was assured had been addressed. However, only five months later, the same steering components were recorded on the MOT as severely deteriorated, raising serious concerns about the quality and effectiveness of the earlier “repair”.
I raised these issues multiple times with dealership management and head office, but neither showed any real interest in resolving my complaint, despite repeated contact attempts on my part. I felt completely dismissed as a customer.
Because responsibility was denied, I was left with no option but to pay £1,370 out of my own pocket to carry out essential repairs to keep the vehicle safe and roadworthy.
Given the existence of a 123-point inspection checklist that is meant to ensure the car is suitable for sale, I believe this vehicle was mis-sold. I am now pursuing recovery of my repair costs through formal legal channels.

I visit here quite often, and every time I go I’m welcomed by Cherelle on Reception without fail - she always offers me a drink and makes me feel welcome - she is an asset to your company and is incredibly good at what she does. She sets a model example of how front of house should be!

Second hand car sale was great until a leak noticed 2 weeks into ownership due to coolant light . Then the nightmare begun 1 month to get it in and 1 month to repair questioning wethrr they actually do anything as I see nothing that looks to have moved and no explanation , poor communication , ignored by management and then manger sent snotty and poor replies . No point go private over using them they take the money and after sales is terrible in every way

Communication has been very poor. Telephone calls were not followed up and call backs not made when promised. I found it very difficult to get reports about any progress of my repair. While waiting for a part they allowed the battery to go flat.

I visited earlier this week. The receptionist called Katrina was very friendly, offering tea and biscuits whilst I waited. She was very chatty and friendly. A very welcoming smiley face, she made my day. I will be sure to return to buy a car one day.

I bought a used Genesis GV60 from here and the sales guy, Ben, couldn't have been more helpful. I spent over an hour with him test driving a couple of cars, before I decided on a particular model. The purchasing experience was very smooth - communication pre and post purchase has been great too! I thoroughly recommend them if you are considering a Genesis purchase.

We walked in one Sunday looking for a used car for my son. Introduced to Tariq who assisted us. Told him our specific requirements and budget and he shortlisted all cars available within the dealership.
We chose a car and he arranged for it to be brought over to Leicester.
