And after comment from EVANS HALSHAW below, still no response to complaints!!! Do not even deserve the 1 star shown to submit review!! Any other organisation would be serious about customer service, it is clear Evans Halshaw are not. Update 27.08.2025. Not great service or communication. Car recovered by RAC, who provided details of fault, and taken to Dacia at Sighthill. Car was in over a week before looked at to be advised no fault found. Within minutes of leaving garage again recovered by RAC taken to another garage to be repaired under manufacturer's warranty. Situation could have been improved by better communication, staff while not rude were not welcoming or informative.
It has been extremely difficult, even for the Dacia Customer Service team to contact and receive information. I have put concerns in writing for these also to be ignored. After much difficulty a refund for the payment made was given. So thank you for that. Based on my experience I would not return or recommend.

Bought a used Dacia and it immediately started making a rattling noise. Obvs the noise stopped when I took it in so they said there was nothing they could do, despite being the experts. Of course the next time it made the noise I was told I was out of warranty and I would have to pay a lot of money just to get it looked at. No my alternator has packed in and I can't drive the car, and the earliest they can see me is in 3 weeks time. Poor show.

Perfect Car! We needed a bigger car for the new addition for our family and saw the advert on Auto trader.

We visited on Monday and the car was ideal, well priced. We were offered a test drive which absolutely sold it for us.

Had an excellent experience buying my new car from Kyle. He made the process very easy and all was expected when I picked up the car

Purchased car in May at Edinburgh West branch. Passenger door handle broke 4 weeks later. Have phoned several times and visited twice with car. 3 members of staff have taken photos of handle and yet there is still no response. Was promised a phone-call 4 days ago. After-care is not very good.

Edit: have now put rating down to one star. Eventually, the issue was 'fixed' but part of the handle is still hanging down. It's almost impossible to reach the service dept by phone. Was arranged to collect car this morning to fix between 8 and 10. Have now turned up late - some notice would have been appreciated, promised text/ email didn't arrive - so hopefully the work can be finally completed to a good standard.

Don't ever pay a deposit with the dealer to reserve a test drive. If you don't proceed to buy a car from this dealer they withhold refunding the deposit and then don't answer your phone calls or return messages to call you back.

I just bought my first car from Evan Halshaw Edinburgh branch and was delighted with the customer service. From the get-go of seeing my dream car online and enquiring, Amar sent over a personalised video showcasing the car. Shortly after he followed up with a call to make sure I received the video ok and if I had any queries.
Few days later I visited the branch and had a test drive, Amar and his colleges were all very friendly and welcoming. Especially to my little dog Wilbur who I had to bring with me last minute.
