Very poor customer care
After 9 years of being a loyal customer I won’t be going back. My car failed its MOT for a fault that had been overlooked for the past 6 years …. The TPMS light showing on the dash since I bought the car from the same dealership. I was told they told me it needed recalibrating by JEEP ( they may have told my ex not me!). Jeep can’t fit me in for another 2 months and MOT expires in 3 weeks …. Did they care ? They couldn’t get me out the door quick enough …. Luckily I’ve found a very good place who are trying their best to get me sorted ….they could teach Evans Halshaw staff what customer care really means.

Rude and just don't care
Found a car on the Evans Halshaw website contacted them to check it was still in stock, they said yes I said I would come and view it on Sat morning,,, No problem bla bla bla, Sat morning drove 60 miles to see it get there,,,, sorry its in a compound and we have no staff to get it or deal with you ??? I then when online to have it moved to a dealer near to me, The same rude salesman phoned me up !!! not happy will take my money somewhere else.

Scary to see the lack of knowledge the service team had regarding DVLA processes. I could have been issued fines if I had followed advice.

Continuously 5 Star!
Amazing service from the team over the weekend and more specifically, from Josh (I'm pretty sure that was his name, its what it says on my paperwork, I cant remember as "new car day" is an exciting day...) who helped us from start to finish. Despite walking in knowing what I wanted, I did not expect to leave the dealership that day with a new car! Thanks to Josh's help and assistance the process was made super easy and relatively quick considering how long it can take for the paper work aspect. In between waiting for documents we chatted... well, mostly him and my husband about football, but it was nice either way. He was down to earth and if it wasn't for him I don't think I would have my dream Arkana sitting on the drive right now. I have and always will deal with Evans Halshaw Durham, they consistently have the best service. This is my 3rd Renault and it definitely wont be my last!
Thank you again for a lovely experience from all at Evans Halshaw and Josh especially!

Overall service was great
Overall service was great, I was greeted in the carpark, as it was busy inside, due to an issue, car handed over, all communication from then by phone, great service, told the car failed MOT due to something not been checked on the service and health check that should have been, however the team put this right for me free of charge to get car through the MOT,
More than happy with the work, loved the crunchy that was left in the car for me also 😂😂
