I enquired about a vehicle one evening and the next morning had a video with all information I asked for and showing me around the car. I visited the branch and took the car for a test drive. I came across an issue with my part exchange however Pete was really helpful and I could keep the vehicle reserved whilst sorting the issue. I picked up the car a weeks later, which I’m really happy with. Super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable from start to finish.

5* experience with new car sales

Collected a motability vehicle today from the dealer. Easy process & very helpful motability specialist. Would highly recommend.

They were very good at selling me a Peugeot 2008. Before I paid for it I looked at the report they gave me which had "service invoice" written on it. Listed as done were a number of things you would expect on a basic service. They also offered me a £900 three year warranty which I declined. Six weeks later I'm prompted by a mechanic to check the status of the wet belt, which if not maintained to manufacturers specification can result in the destruction of the engine. I see no reference to that in any documentation provided to me by EH and so I make inquiries in various places as to what a minimum service should include and without fail flagging the requirement for a wet belt maintained to manufacturers recommendations comes almost top. I note on checking manuals that the belt should have been changed six months ago. Despite emails and phone calls EH does not respond to my requests for clarification about the wet belt and whether the insurance policy would have been valid. I therefore bypass the branch to make a complaint and within 24 hours the branch I am dealing with responds. They tell me the insurance policy will have covered me for a breakdown even if the belt had not been replaced according to manufacturer's specifications. I leave it to you to decide whether in fact the cost of a new engine would have been covered. They also refer to the service as a "predelivery inspection" even though verbally it was called a service when they were selling me the vehicle and its called a "service invoice" on the document. Even if its a "pre delivery inspection " one would expect to be informed that a critical job costing hundreds of of pounds needs to be done to the vehicle. EH would also be aware of the serious issues this model has with its wet belt if not maintained as per manufacturer's recommendations, you need only look online only to see this. By the way, the wet belt shows signs of splitting.
