I asked for my ‘automatic’ renewal to be cancelled before the renewal data. But you have still deducted the premium from my account. Can you please arrange to refund this payment as soon as possible.

Would have liked a heads up before renewing policy and taking money
Can't comment on the cover as I've not had to claim, however I didn't appreciate them taking my next year's cover without actually telling me it was due.
They took the money before they sent an email saying thanks for signing up for another year.
I didn't even know it was due and would have preferred them telling me so I could shop around.
I know this avoids forgetting to arrange cover but it's a bit underhanded.

Curiously I got a better deal going back to the web site than the automatic renewal. When oi contacted Eversure they were efficient and confirmed all in order.

I was given clear instructions on how…
I was given clear instructions on how to purchase the insurance. The conditions were also clearly explained. The process was made easy and took little time to complete.
I was a little concerned afterwards having given my card details to another person, but I am sure you vet staff for these positions and only employ those who are trustworthy.

Eversure Cycle Insurance
Eversure Cycle Insurance – Avoid
Do not waste your money on Eversure Cycle Insurance. My electric bike was stolen while locked with a Gold Standard lock to a concreted public signpost, fully in line with their policy requirements. Despite this, my claim was rejected.
They argued that because the lock was taken by the thief, there was “no evidence of force”, and then retrospectively decided the signpost was unsuitable — even though it meets their own definition of an immovable object. This is completely unreasonable. A bike cannot be stolen from a fixed object without force, and it is entirely predictable that a thief would remove the lock.
This feels like a deliberate attempt to avoid paying a valid claim by hiding behind technicalities and vague interpretations. The policy provides a false sense of security and is meaningless when you actually need it.
I would strongly recommend avoiding Eversure if you expect fair treatment or common-sense decision-making.
