My child has been enrolled in Stage 1 swimming lessons for nearly 11 months and is still nowhere near passing. Despite repeated feedback that she was “close to passing,” her progress has effectively stalled for months.

The lessons follow a rigid 10-week structure, but there has been no meaningful intervention or targeted support to address persistent barriers, such as reluctance to submerge her face or maintain proper body position. Communication has been inconsistent, and advice for home practice has been vague and insufficient.

Even additional sessions, such as summer crash courses, have not resulted in measurable improvement. Overall, the programme has not provided the structured, effective teaching or value we expected, and we are extremely disappointed with the lack of progress after almost a year.

Company didn’t cancel both mine and my partners memberships. They wouldn’t even help over the phone and I was still charged for 1 account.

Staff are unhelpful and unprofessional.

Please avoid this place, there are much better much more professional gyms in the area

Bourne Leisure Centre hosted my daughter's birthday pool party today. Sam and the team went above and beyond to ensure that the party was a success by offering to keep food cool, added extra chairs and tables and confirmed what my daughter wanted. Sam gave the kids a safety reminder before they got in the pool and everyone had a great time. All the staff kept checking in with me, was lovely to be able to take pictures on poolside and do a group photo that my daughter really wanted. Thank you for a great day

Instructor never asked if anybody had any injuries. I laid on the floor for around 15 to 20 mins as unable to sit up extra due to a lower back injury.

I really hate when you have to leave a public bad review in the hope to get a response from a company. After calling and emailing several times about a swimming session we were unable to get to as our car had broken down I feel highly dissatisfied by the lack of response by management. I explained to the reception that I would be able to provide proof of the car being recovered and taken to the garage. I really don’t think that all circumstances are the same for cancelling and the lack of option to pay on entry means that your company gets to keep payment for a unused service when an unforeseen event occurs.

Great value for money. All staff without exception are friendly, helpful and encouraging. Fitness classes are excellent - the instructors challenge you without making you feel under pressure. My fitness has really improved since attending this gym.
