Very efficient service, the technician was on time and completed the service with great care. Although expensive it was worth it.
Last year when my service was due an engineer came out to me to service my water softener, for the first time in atleast 10 years there was an issue with the engineer.
So then i called ewt customer care service and explained exactly what happened, all i can say is they were so professional and understanding of my situation and very courteous to deal with.
As a result of my experience they granted me a free service and 5 salt which i have availed of this year.
So im very greatful and happy with ewt and their wonderful customer care service.
We have had EWT water softener in our house for the last 5 years and it is absolutely fantastic. It's made a huge difference for us. We get it serviced every year and the engineers that come out are very good at their job. I'm sure there are other businesses like this out there but for us, EWT are the best .
The engineer that serviced my water softener on the 20.01.22 was great and very attentive to the requirements required. I feel I got the best service since I got my water softener some years ago. I get a service yearly and it makes a difference, but it helps having such an invested staff that takes pride in his work to complete your service. The whole system seems like new again and the quality of the water is great (even my kids have noticed the drink water quality). I would highly recommend ETW, but ensure you supervise the service engineer, not that I needed to this time but my last service was not to the same standard. One point on the cost of there salt it has gone up in price and is much more expensive the your local hardware salt, but the quality of EWT salt is a much higher standard. Over all I would give this service 10 out of 10 and worth the annual fee.
The customer service agent Victoria was so helpful, kind, and rang me back several times to make sure that all was well. The engineer was extremely professional too and we are delighted to have our water back again. After 7 years of great service and perfect water on tap, I wouldn’t choose anyone other than EWT.
Had a noise coming from RO system. Phoned EWT service desk and they advised me to switch off the power to see if this would resolve the issue, if not to call them back approx. 20 mins later. The noise was still there after switching off the unit for 15 mins so I called EWT back. The customer service agent logged a ticket and said they would get an engineer out to us as soon as they could. Within an hour we had an appointment for the following morning (2 days before Christmas). By the time the engineer had arrived the noise had gone but he carried out a full service on the unit. Overall a very professional service.
It really is heart warming to read all of the positive reviews given to EWT (water2buy) by customers who have a newly installed water softener system. I too was happy when my machine was installed several years ago and it made a noticeable notice, but unfortunately fast forward >> to Dec 2021 and this water softener machine has become increasingly unreliable and now it’s causing me no end of grief and costing me additional money.
For the second time, (within 15 months of last time) my machine has failed and allowed RESIN BEADS into the normal taps / drinking water system and also central heating system, which resulted in all water taps / showers and toilets being completely blocked up with this resin gunk.
This is an annoying situation and as common with most companies, EWT deny any wrongdoing on their part or their machine and just continually blame an alleged high amount of chlorine that they state must be within my incoming water supply (Bromley area) from Thames Water, all this is without any tests to prove!!
EWT will do nothing above and beyond to help me resolve this, (not even a refurbished machine swop) which is why they have now lost my faith and trust in them and their products in my home. All they offer is that I could either arrange a call out for issue specifically or they can come and service the machine, but that is it. There was no pre-warning of failure, literally the water just suddenly dried to a trickle and then completely stopped, leaving me to investigate… Every Tap, shower and toilet system had to be dismantled and cleaned out of these RESIN beads and then flushed through, and reinstalled, hopefully getting the water pressure back to normal all of this which takes up lots of time, unfortunately I only managed to get the cold supply working at this stage, no HOT water suggesting issue / resin blockage within my combi boiler or it’s pipes!
I moved onto my combi boiler / central heating system and flushed out then refilled and bleed my complete radiator system followed by flushing out and refilling the boiler itself. This enabled the boiler to start working and it was supplying both hot water and central heating, but it was making the strangest unhealthiest of noises for 45 mins, the sort never heard before, I suspect it was the boiler getting rid of the resin as luckily this soon stopped.
Taking no chances, I called a boiler engineer to check the boiler and he dismantled it checking for any internal damage, luckily there was none.
As I can’t be dealing with this level of inconvenience again, the EWT water softener will never be reconnected to our water system as it just can’t be trusted. Another separate issue with EWT, you can’t get another company to service the machine as they have apparently changed parts / connections to a type only they have… against competition rules!?
I am now looking for suitable alternative ‘water conditioning’ options to help prevent limescale build up and hopefully limit damage to machines etc.

Please stay clear of this company there softener system leaks resin into you water system damaging your home water system and appliances in your home, and they take no responsibility, they blame high levels of chlorine which I don't have as I am in rural Ireland.There own engineer said it was a faulty part and sayed the company would look after any damaged caused.Three weeks later the same part the holds the resin beads broke again so now I have two lots of resin gone into my water system damaging my showers,washing machine,dishwasher with EWT just saying its not there fault what a joke of a company.I would not recommend these clowns to anybody who wants to mind there property.

Uses excessive salt and doesn't remove lime to an acceptable level.
At service time,engineers (mainly rude and arrogant know-alls) unable to rectify.

I bought EWT Gold Series 607 Softener late last year on the recommendation from my friend. Softener was installed and since then it is working fine but I was told that I'll receive superior customer service etc but now when I am trying to call them to book an appointment for service , no one picks up the call with multiple unsuccessful attempts. Even leaving an option to call me back does not work and no one calls me back. Their mobile app is also very poor and interface is not upto the mark.
Another problem is that I have £xxx credit in my ewt account and now they are telling that I can only use 10% in buying any service or product and rest I need to pay, which I don't understand at all because there was no such rule till last year.

On Tuesday, November 2, Mr Przemyslaw arrived to my address 19:30, and proceeded to install the filter. I would want to clarify at this point that previous installation that was arranged for us was cancelled last minute by your employee, saying that he was stuck and won’t be able to make it to us. That was on the 22 of October. I wasn’t happy about that obviously, as I made arrangements to accommodate your employee. Same thing happen again when Mr Przemyslaw called at 18:30 explaining that he can’t make it to us, and that he won’t be coming. In a nice way I told your contractor that I won’t accept his excuse and that I expect him to arrive as planned, as we had installation pushed by previous contractor of yours already. I made arrangements again for your employee to carry out the installation, and at this point having another guy calling me saying he won’t make it started to sound a little as a joke, and almost felt like a custom going around in your company, where guys call customers last minute to cancel. You have to understand: late evening installation is problematic as it is, on top of that we have small kids and it interfered with their bed time routine, therfore we wanted to get it done on the day and not to having to arrange installation in a later date again.
During the installation, Mr Przemyslaw organised his workspace by arranging the water filter cabinet in the kitchen, he proceeded to make an opening for a cable to access the cabinet, he drilled the pipes connected to the sink in order attach pipes running water to the water filter. All went ok, until he realised that the plug necessary to connect the filter to the electric power is nowhere near the sink cabinet and extension cord will need to be used to gain access to electricity. Electric plugs are in one place only in my kitchen and they are at the other end of the kitchen. The extension cord will need to run under the kitchen presses, oven and dishwasher. Mr Przemyslaw preceded to remove the wooden board from under the furniture, he drilled a corner of a board off to make room for the extension cable, and successfully connected water filter to the electricity. Once this was done, to finish the job, the board needed to be put back in place the way it was, and all of the sudden this became a problem. He was unable to do that, the board seemed awkward, so I helped him from the other end to place it in its original spot, however the board was still very hard to put back. At this moment, Mr Przemyslaw started forcefully to push the board with his fists under the furniture as a result of which the board snapped and broke. We stood amazed of what had happened, we just never expected anything like this. He said to my wife in his native Polish, that these things happen on the jobs sometimes, but surely even if they do, they are not part of an outcome of having a water filter installed and they are certainly not a normal thing to happen. Excuse that these things happen is just not good enough. Might I add, that during the time spent with us, he seemed as if he didn’t want to be there at all, like he didn’t care and he definitely looked unimpressed by the broken board. He checked the filter and it was working, he gave me advice on how to use the filter etc. Upon leaving he asked my wife if he should take the boxes with him to dispose of them or could he leave them for us to dispose. My wife asked him to kindly take the empty boxes with him and the rubbish left behind, but he never took the bits and pieces with him. He only took the big boxes.
After he was gone me and my wife went over the kitchen to examine how it was all functioning and apart from the filter working properly, we were absolutely stunned and displeased by the broken wooden board.
We are deeply unsatisfied and disappointed with the service we received. Despite contacting the company in the above described matter, we haven’t heard from the company in over a week now. Now even an email acknowledging receiving our complaint email.

Recently had my system serviced, extremely easy process from booking the appointment to the actual service itself.
The representative was very friendly, chatty he offered to placed 10 bags of salt in the garden shed in order same me going out in the rain.
He was also fully covid compliant when called at the door and worked through out the house.
This is the first time an EWT engineer comes over after installation, and the service is flawless as the first time. Arrived on time, wore a mask, the information was clear and everything was left clean and tidy. Normunds was very nice, polite and helpful. I’d definitely recommend EWT.
I’ve been thinking about a water softener for some time and there are a few companies that install them but after a personal recommendation I went with EWT. They were fantastic to deal with and I’m delighted with both the water softener system and the filtered drinking water tap. Would highly recommend EWT!
