Absolutely THE WORST web hosting…
Absolutely THE WORST web hosting platform out there. Stay away from them unless you enjoy your website being constantly under attack and poor customer service. I would never had used them but they but out my long time server (Islandhosting) and from the day they took over - nothing but problems! I manage a few sites and everyone was getting attacked which ate up all the disc quotas - their answer was to go to a higher tier and increase quota. A few weeks later - guess what? Increased attacks and, drained quotas and have to go to next tier. It’s a game they are playing just to get you to keep paying more. I asked them to cancel ALL my accounts in December and refund my pre-paid accounts. Someone from their company named Jill said she would take care of this. It’s now nearly April and nothing has been done after multiple reminders. Just got notice today from them that one of my account was suspended. Their tactic is to just let my accounts ‘run the clock’ until my pre-paid amounts are exhausted. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of of this horrendous server.

There’s no other way to contact support. Terrible experience, I wouldn’t recommend this host to anyone. There is only additional star for uptime level.

I have used exact hosting since it purchased the hosting site 5dollarhosting, which I had used for 12 years. Exact hosting has been easy to work with and responsive to website issues.

My previous hosting company acquired this worthless business and transferred me to them. NOTHING BUT BS!! No way to actually contact a real person for support! I had to write a ticket to find out why I wasn't receiving my BUSINESS EMAILS and it took them 5 BUSINESS DAYS TO REPLY! That is BEYOND unacceptable! I am trying to run my business! WHERE IS 24/7 SUPPORT??? And it has been over 8 weeks and they still have not transferred all my domain information and my domain from my previous hosting company. If you can at all avoid doing business with Exacthosting, do yourself a favor and RUN as far and fast as you can!! Here I sit again, having not received emails for over 6 hours. Any site that I have to get into that requires a passcode sent to me through an email... I can't get the email so I cannot get into the online business applications I need to get into to retrieve data. So here I sit, dead in the water for the past 5 hours... and still no emails. Can you tell I am a bit peeved and more than continually frustrated with this company? WHERE IS 24/7 SUPPORT FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS???

Worst Experience Ever with Hosting
Awful experience every single time I try to manage my domains. Whoever is in charge of the UX experience, knowledge base and usability should had been fired like 10 years ago. That's how bad it is. Just stay away you'll do yourself a favor.
Exacthosting.com, Horrible company
Exacthosting.com had several domains belong to me. I ask them to transfer my domains and they provided me with bogus transfer pin that do no work. I waited almost two months and now I lost some of my domains. They play games with peoples livelihood. I am extremely frustrated at this point. I filed an official complaint with Icann, this is the U.S government regulatory agency for internet issues with ISP, Registrants etc. I haven't heard back from them as yet. This company is non business like and unprofessional; they're located in Canada. Do not do business with them.

LOUSIEST Hosting with the LOUSIEST support! It's unbelievable how unprofessional their support is. Already submitted a ticket for almost a month now, and it's still unresolved due to their super unresponsive support teams that cannot reply to my email without being chased on live chat! Always delay for 4 days or above to reply to a simple email! (I have a 9-day delay in between, and it can go on for longer if I didn't find time to follow up with their live chat) And I am from Malaysia, which means their live chat operation hour are between 8 pm to 8 am (off work hours), which is why I chose to reach out via email initially.
However, their mailbox are purely for decorative purposes because if you don't chase via live chat, they won't reply! Please refrain from buying any services from this TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL hosting company.

Disabled email and cannot contact anyone to deal with it!
IMPOSSIBLE to submit a ticket or contact anyone. NO phone interaction and they ask you to email your requests....so, what if you have an email that ceases to work? They bought out Island Hosting and have completely disabled the email of an important association. This company seems to be a fraud from what we have experienced. I see a class-action lawsuit coming.
A Shocking Downfall – Stay Far Away From This Hosting Nightmare!
I’ve been a loyal customer of this hosting company for over 20 years. In the past, their service was excellent, support was responsive, and prices were fair.
But after the company was acquired a few years ago, everything went horribly wrong. Support became nonexistent—waiting weeks for a reply is now the norm, and even then, they often ignore the actual issue. To make matters worse, prices skyrocketed without justification.
MY WORST EXPERIENCE:
For over a month, they deactivated ALL my websites, cutting off my business entirely. I sent dozens of emails, begging them to restore my sites. After 30+ days of downtime, they finally replied with a weak excuse about a "server problem" and casually mentioned my sites were back online. No apology, no compensation—just complete disregard for the thousands of dollars in lost revenue they cost me.
As soon as my sites were back, I immediately migrated to a different host and requested account closure. But in true scammer fashion, they want to charge my AMEX card for another year of service—after I explicitly canceled!
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. They are UNPROFESSIONAL, unreliable, and borderline FRAUDULENT. I’ve never encountered such incompetent and dishonest behavior in all my years online.
RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN !!!

Exacthosting has provided high-quality hosting for our organization (which, unfortunately, had to close). Managing our website and email accounts was easy. When we had a question, the people at Exacthosting responded quickly and courteously. I have another company that has been with Exacthosting and will continue to receive their superb service.

Answer to comment from Exacthosting: You refunded original amount and charged almost double amount at 04/24/2025, without any reason. Domain was already transferred to another register.

I can confirm that all payments was refunded. Thank you. Problem was that you charged card without my authorization after you changed price without explanation, after domain was transferred and after I answered to support that I not agree with new price (new price was higher than what I paid for premium domain to enom).

Satisfied long-term customer
When I started my software business 17 years ago, i looked for a good hosting service to build my website. Their rate was inexpensive enough that there was next to no risk in starting my business. Over the years they've given me superb service. They've always answered my questions and helped me out very promptly if something was wrong. I know at least once it was a mistake i made and they were able to restore my pages. I've stuck with Exacthosting until I closed my business at the end of 2024. I highly recommend them if you need web space.
I move to Hostinger.com and it went really smoothe. Had my website up and running in afew hours.
My website was working on and off since I was moved by Enomcentral.com. Never had a problem at Enom. It was really difficult using exact Hosting as Hardly anything seemed to work. It is a very confusing platform. I transferred my domain to hostinger.com and it was night and day. I had me website up and running the same day with the guidance of Kodee and their online chat. Kodee was so good that I was able to finish things up by myself when he had left for the day. The transferring of my Domain from Exact Hosting to hostinger.com was the only thing that worked well at Exacthosting. So Glad to be back up again. Good luck to everyone.

If you want to lose your domain
We had been using eNom as our domain registrar for years. Last year, they sold their business to Exact Hosting, reassuring there would be no changes to our domain services. However, since then there has been nothing but trouble. The biggest problem is that they only use PayPal for payments, but all attempts to pay are blocked by PayPal, no matter which payment method we choose. Moreover, instead of individual payments, they ask for unlimited authorization, and this cannot be changed. We emailed them multiple times but never received a reply. As a result, our domain which we had been running for years expired and we lost it.
January 2025 through October 19 (so far) great customer service
Bear with me, I have to set up the story so you will understand how I reached Exact Hosting. First, I was part of that awful mess when Vista Print merged with WIX. They lost all my photos twice, 18 years of photos I will never get back. WIX is a disaster so I haven't touched my website in 1-1/2 years. I began looking around January 2025 for a new website host. Everyone wanted to build a huge monstrosity for me which I didn't need or want, no company would allow me to test their site builders so I could determine whether I could even navigate it, no one seemed to give a darn. 18 years ago Vista Print was easy, now tech is so highly developed it is impossible for someone like me to figure it out and I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars to have a site built, then more hundreds to have it maintained, etc. I was lost and overwhelmed. I decided to renew my domain with Hover (due January 31, 2025) and let the website possibly go until I could find help from someone. I explained my situation to Hover, how every website host was too complicated, etc., and they said to try their sister company, Exact Hosting which I did. I first spoke with Terry over the phone, explained my situation and he graciously shared my screen with me and put me on their site. He walked me through the process, put me on a 10 day trial at no cost to allow me to play around with the navigation, then sent me an email with further assistance. I later spoke with Tim who did the same thing of sharing my screen and giving me wonderful tips. I read the reviews of Exact Hosting (not all good) but noticed many of the reviews mentioned Vista Print and the mess that caused long time subscribers like me. I called Hover and expressed my concerns. First, Hover explained they had always been the domain host for Vista (interesting) and had been mixed up in the mess but not out of choice. Things they told me were exactly what happened to me with Vista Print and Wix so I knew they were speaking the truth. It was such a relief to find two companies (Hover and Exact Hosting) who knew what I had been through. I could also tell the reviews reflected the same time period when all the mess took place. Now to my review of Exact Hosting. They have been wonderful and I can't express my appreciation of how much they have done for me over the past 5 days. They answer the phone! The two reps I spoke with (one in Tennessee and one in Texas) were friendly, likeable, patient, experienced, caring, and definitely took care of me. I connected my website yesterday and said adios (and a few choice words) to Vista Print and WIX. Hover was able to continue to host my domain which was great as they have also been extremely friendly, helpful and patient, and they answer the phone too!. I am able to navigate the site builder with Exact with fair ease and I can reach them by telephone for help if I get stuck. This means so much when customer service is pretty much non-existent these days. Plus, I get to speak to reps in Canada or the US instead of reps in other countries who barely speak or comprehend the English language. If you are looking for a new host, give them a shot and take the time to speak with them. I am certainly glad I did. Update: (Switched to Exact January 3, 2025) February 17, 2025. Absolutely zero issues since switching my website to Exact Hosting. None. Update 10/19/25 Still no issues. Website has never gone down. Customer service always available to answer question or share screen for assistance. I refer them to my friends who want to get out of the large companies who charge crazy amounts of money with zero customer service.
