Extension One not recommended
Extension One has taken over UKTelecom who had provided us with a landline here in France for many years. We had had no problems with UKTelecom and were happy with their customer service and pricing.
In July we were told that we would have no service for a couple of weeks while Extension One changed their supplier to Orange to keep costs down for their customers. After the date for reconnection came and went (the French summer holidays taking the blame) we contacted Extension One for updates. They were very good at replying to e-mails but still no service.
September arrives and we discovered that they no longer offer a landline! This was never mentioned in any correspondence. We have been trying to get an RIO number for over a month to enable us to keep our phone number with a new provider but silence. No response to e-mails and their telephone line is “temporarily suspended”.
I would definitely NOT recommend anyone to use this company.
