Vacu-Stack TDW 6". After 5 years on my chimney top, I finally replaced my Vacu-Stack. Not because it wore out, but because it had a manufacturer's flaw I wasn't aware of. Long after the warranty was up, I discovered the defect. It cannot fly. One would think that somewhere on the original box there would be written in big bold letters, "This item is not designed to float, fly or levitate". You can imagine my shock when during a routine cleaning, the wind caught it, rolled it along the roof edge just like a goose revving for flight. But instead of soaring to the heavens it dropped like the proverbial rock! How disappointing. Even with all that, I finished knocking off the creosote, did a little pushing, pulling and straightening and placed it back on the chimney until a replacement could be ordered. And to that point, Fireside Chimney Supply was quick to send that replacement out and soon it was delivered. Thanks FSC. If only it had been covered under warranty...

My husband loves his wood heater, When he had to have some work done on chimney and stove he was lost. It turned off cold and he was beyond himself without his heater. He has it working now and if I could get my old body in a bathing suit I would put one on. He has this house warm or maybe should say hot. He is happy with all the things he ordered and things he had to have built.
