Scam...Please avoid at all cost.

Scam...Please avoid at all cost.
Wondering how they got all my personal details and claimed I have won 10 lottery syndicate tickets. They called me twice on different ocassion and were bent on providing them my bank details which I refused.
Thanks to trust pilot, I quickly googled if they were genuine and trust pilot popped up, blocking them right away.
Please be careful out there, times are hard and the last thing you want is to be scammed.

Definitely a scam

I was contacted by this company claiming that I had won a ticket with 10 syndicate lines for that evening's Euromillions. At first, I believed them since they had all my personal details, including my full name, date of birth, address, and phone number. Unfortunately, I ended up providing my bank details.

I did have some doubts, so I gave them a Revolut account, which had no funds. I've since closed that account and opened a new one, but I’m still very concerned that they have all my personal information, and I don't know how they obtained it.

Recently, a link from Lidl appeared on Facebook promoting a competition, which I thought was legitimate, and that’s likely why I trusted them when they said I was a winner. I’ll never enter a competition through a link on Facebook again.

Looks to be a scam

So glad I read all these before passing on my details. Tried to convince me that I won an Estee lauder gift set and entry's to the euro millions... then asked for my bank details... concerning because they have your details such as name and dob and address...

Thank you Trust pilot for being there to prove this was a scam

Thank you, Trust pilot for being there when I needed you most.

Yes, I’ve had constant calls from this company, so I let them go ahead answering yes to everything that they asked until they got to give me your bank details so your winnings can be paid in! This was the point that I stopped the conversation, and questions them. He said they have an app called first prize lotto, so I said great, let’s go and have a look, and as expected there was no such app. The guy on the phone then said oh it’s not an app, it’s a website, so I said let’s go and have a look, at this point somebody else came to the phone, trying to persuade me they were genuine, I said just a moment while he was continuing to badger me. I copied the link to the website and ask Google if this site was genuine, this is where Trust pilot comes in. I read all the comments out loud to the guy on the phone, he continued to tell me how genuine they are, and how they got my details because I had entered a competition for a camper van, which I’m positive I didn’t, because I don’t enter things at all. So quite politely, because he wasn’t giving in, I wished him luck, and told him I was one old lady he wasn’t going to scam.

I urge anyone who is contacted by this company not to give them your bank details.

Friendly sounding lady who was out to scam me

Had a call from a lovely sounding woman, who asked if I could hear her ok as she had some lovely news for me.. my entry has been successful and I had won 10 entries into the lotto.. now I know I wouldn't have entered something like this and when she asked if I was excited, I said I didn't know.. she then proceeded in handing me over to one of her colleagues and it's then that I blocked the call number without any details being given... these people are ruthless scam artists.

Firstprizelottos - unconvinced

Had a call allegedly from a NI number (Newcastle, N.I.), & an English female voice said I'd won 10 free Eurolottery tickets. Wouldn't answer specific questions. Passed me to a man who gabbled very quickly in a Southern African accent, claimed I'd entered a draw for a Camper van last year and 'my syndicate' now had these tickets awarded. I've no clear memory re Van, I suppose I might've in a moment of weakness, but I've not driven for several decades.
Wouldn't clarify 'syndicate'.
We didn't get as far as him asking for money, I said it sounded like a scam, which he seemed to be slightly annoyed at, then we ended the call (now blocked on my phone).

I just had a call from these people, definitely a scam as soon as mentioned I have anti-scam security software built into my device they hurried off the phone! 🤣🤣
People are getting caught by this is soon as they contact you report them to action fraud! You can find them on Google.

It won't allow me to post the direct link on here, go figure 🤦🏽‍♂️

I will be doing this shortly!!

Avoid at all costs !! I hope nobody gets caught out ! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Absolute scum.

Scumbags! Complete scam, I oversee my mothers emails and most accounts. I saw a new DD guarantee email and asked what this was. Mother said she'd received a call and was persuaded into setting up a £39.00 per month account for the Euromillions.

I called the day after her setting up the account and asked what this service was offering, they couldn't really tell me except my mother has agreed to pay £39.00a month for a euro millions subscription.

I asked them to cancel the account immediately, they said they couldn't and I would need to send an email for this to be actioned. I asked for the call recording when they called and they couldn't give me this. I mentioned all about GDPR and the rights.. when I said this, they said "as a gesture of goodwill, they will cancel the account immediately" When I asked them to begin the right to erasure process to remove all my monther details, they hung up.

Avoid at all costs. Bas***ds.

AVOID!

AVOID!! Woman on the phone was lovely and persuaded me to sign up, even after saying it was because I’d entered a competition to win a chocolate hamper (which I didn’t even enter). No winnings, and no replies from the customer services. I am going to have to cancel my subscription through the direct debit company, or contact my bank. Complete waste of time and possibly info phishing.

Asked if there was a paid subscription or if the caller was selling me anything and they rudely said "have you not been listening to a single thing i've been saying?". However they then went back on their word and tried to sell me a £40 a month subscription, when I politely declined they hung up.

Total Scam

They signed me up over the phone, and failed to send me any email confirmation or means to contact the company or terms and conditions. Yet still took money.
After a phone call from them out of the blue, Today, They refused to send me copies of the emails they then claimed they had sent. They would only give me the website address, which does not have their company number or a mailing address listed. Told me of winnings that they then refused to pay.
Total scam.

Euro Millions Lotto SCAM!!!

I just had a long conversation with a lady who told me I had won a prize blah blah blah. While I was speaking to her I looked up their website on Trust Pilot and informed her that as they had a very low rating I would not be availing myself of their ‘too good to be true’ lotto scam. She said ok thank you very much and hung up! 🤣 Always check Trust Pilot People and err on the side of caution!!!

SCAM - Please tell them "no"

Received a call around 1130 on the 11Dec24. He told me his name was Wayne Anderson.
Like everyone else in the reviews, I was advised that one of my competition entries (for something unrelated) had been shortlisted and I had now also been entered into "first prize lotto syndicate".
They confirmed my information, explained about the 10 free tickets for the next 3 months, went through all the faff then right at the end said "so you will be debited £39 each month". That did raise a flag but I didn't trust my gut that this was bad and went through with the rest of the call. They did advise that there is a 14 day cooling off period so that was good info to be given.
When I finished the call, I Googled them and found all the folks on here saying "stay away!". So I emailed their support line (support @ firstprizeadmin . com ) advising I am invoking my right to be forgotten as part of the GDPR. I also rang them up, the first person started out all nice and happy but as soon as I said "delete my information" they said "please hold" and I got put on infinite hold. So I ended the call, started again and this perso, Scott Anderson(yeah, right), atleast said they would delete my info. They did also advise to contact the customer service number (0204 525 1067 ) to 100% confirm my deletion.
While on the line with Scott, I asked for their company address and he said "Sheffield". I said thanks, and asked for the next line to which he replied "sure, hang on a minute" and gave me the below:
157 Bedford road
Letchworth garden city
SG6 4DY
I ended the call, rang the customer service number and got through to Hannah Loots. They confirmed who I was (weird, I thought they had just deleted my info?), they said that "Karen is just on another call but is dealing with your email". I said "well, you're here so can you kindly deal with it". They then tried to down-sell me on to a cheaper package of £19.50 a month instead of £39. No thanks.
I again asked for the company address and I got:
71-75 Shelton street
Covent gardens, London
WC2 H9JQ
I ended the call.
True to their crooked word, they sent me the cancellation email (from
karen @ firstprizeadmin . com) and summary of it reads:
"Cancelling within the Cooling-Off Period

Please note, if you choose to cancel during your 14-day cooling-off period, your membership will be terminated with immediate effect.

Please be advised that your complimentary, promotional tickets, which have attracted winnings, cannot be paid out in the event of a cancellation within the cooling-off period. These tickets are solely for the benefit of members who have signed-up."

So I have now tripled down and said "yea, delete all of my info" and also given my bank a heads-up about any potential pending payments of £39.

I truly hope that nothing more comes of this and I also hope people read this before they too get got.
