Although a little late all be it down to three storms one after the other the cavalry (4 men) arrived and in just over a day the roof was completely stripped off and redone. Great job, cheerful workforce. Would recommend. Sheila and Martin

I just had my roof repaired by Flintshire Roofing, excellent service. The job was done within a week of me contacting them as it needed repairing quite quickly. The two young guys who came out to do the job where really nice and friendly. The quote and work done was very good. I would definitely recommend this company.

I had some work carried out today by Flintshire Roofing through my insurance company after finding daylight coming in through the roof around the chimney. The company contacted me within an hour of my initial call to the insurance company, and attended my house in Runcorn within a further hour. The two lads who came out (I think they were called Rees & James... sorry gents if I've got that wrong!!) were absolutely fantastic. It gets very windy where i live even on a calm day and there were severe gales blowing. The lads sorted sealing up around my chimney, cut down an old TV Aerial and even removed a lawn that was growing in my gutter.
A real credit to the company and i would recommend them wholeheartedly and certainly use them again. Great work and credit where it's due

When I needed to get some roofing work done I approached a few local firms one of which was Flintshire Roofing. When Mr Jones came to view the job he was very pleasant and explained what needed to be done clearly and so after getting his quote and reading a number of very positive reviews, I agreed to his terms.
Eight and a half weeks later and the job has now been completed and is watertight but I have a few points to highlight:
1. Communication was poor.
2. At no stage did Mr Jones turn up to see if everything was going all right, neither during nor after the job was completed.
3. The team of four men who turned up were polite and cheerful, however they were a bit careless or thoughtless and went at some parts of the job like a bull in a china shop. For example when they were removing the old chippings and felt they fired stuff everywhere, we even had tar on our brand new white upvc porch. When they cleaned the roof before laying insulation they used a leaf blower and blew bits of tar sawdust and white paint (from the old wood upstands) everywhere. It was on the car, the porch roof, the pond and all around the side and front of the house. When they left at days end one of the chaps brushed around the side of the house and front of the garage but I had to go around later with a large vacuum taking the dust and grit from everywhere it had settled after being blown from the roof.
4. When they started to put the new roof together they didn`t bother to check inside the garage first and I have lots of screws sticking through the roof some of which only just missed central heating pipes. I mentioned the screws to one of the men and he offered to use "the whizzer" to remove them but I said I would do it myself.
5. When doing the final trimming with upvc they put the piece of trim at the front of the house above the garage at an angle following the fall of the roof and it looks stupid as the upvc below it has horizontal lines in it.
This could easily have been a five star review if only for some care and consideration. I won`t say that I recommend this firm but nor would I say that I don`t recommend them, I just give an honest review and leave it up to any one who reads it to decide for them selves if they would use them.

We have approached this company 5 times to look at a roof on a property we are buying as yhe surveyor says we might need to replace some slates. Despite them saying no job is too small this is obviously not the case as of today they have still not been

We have just had our conservatory roof replaced with light weight tiles and it looks fabulous. We went with Flintshire Roofing because they were the best value for money compared to the other quotations. We are really pleased with everything from start to finish, the lads were friendly and polite and the place was spotless when they left.

Flintshire roofing came out to my property to give me an estimate for my lean to garage . Jonathan was very professional and polite His team completed the task on time and left the area clean and tidy. They removed all old material etc . I would recommend them to my friends and family excellent service .
