Go elsewhere

Not a fan of the brand. Bought shoes in my normal size, didn't fit and had to exchange them. Forced to pay $5 to return. Got half a size smaller, still didn't fit this time I had to pay $10 to return them... most places don't charge for exchanges/returns. In the end I effectively gave the company $20 for returns/exchanges. Yet my transactions are only showing charges for $15... rip-off

Terrible shoes

Terrible shoes. Soles literally disintegrated, i kept them in the dark, in a box, dry place for a year then wore them once. Sole for the left shoe crumbled away during the event. Embarrassing. They would not refund but gave credit (subtracted shipping so i still have to pay if I want to use their credit). don't buy from this terrible brand. Customer service is bad too, especially James.

Never order online!

I will never, ever order online from Florsheim again!

I wish I reviewed TrustPilot before ordering online. I love this brand for men's dress shoes, buy purchasing them online has completely changed my views.

I purchased three shoes from their website. Two out of the three came with noticeable marks and defects. To me it almost seems that they save the more problematic shoes for online sales.

One of the pairs appeared used. It didn't come with the outer covers they usually come with. The condition did not look good at all. I have another pair that I kept that also did not look good but it seems they're not manufactured anymore so I don't have any options and they were on clearance.

Here was my real issue: it took a month to return the shoes to my credit card. The person that I was emailing with, Charlie, was very kind and I feel bad for him because he must have a lot of work with how slow they drag their feet doing these returns.

Once I return the shoes it took weeks for them to be "checked in". After several emails and asking them to expedite it or that I would dispute it with my credit card finally they return them. Even after receiving an email confirmation that the shoes were being returned, it took another at least week for it to go back to the credit card.

I've seriously never had an online return that goes out into an abyss and is processed a month later. It's a very unfair considering when you purchase the shoes they take the money immediately. It makes it very hard to track checks and balances.

I will absolutely never buy shoes from this company online. It left such a bitter taste in my mouth that while I love a lot of their shoes, I'll probably start leaning towards other brands even in person.

Extremely Disappointed with Florsheim's Service

I have been a loyal Florsheim fan for years, even before moving to New Zealand. Florsheim has always been my go-to for shoes, and I would browse their online store before even considering other options. Sadly, that ends today.

I recently ordered a pair of work shoes during their Black Friday sale, but the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare:

Wrong Address: Despite clearly specifying my shipping address, they sent the shoes to my billing address. I emailed their support team, but received no response.

Wrong Color: I had to go out of my way to collect the shoes, only to find they had sent me the wrong color! I emailed again, and after two days, they finally responded with an apology and sent out a replacement.

Wrong Size: When the replacement pair arrived, I was stunned to find they had sent the wrong size!

I’m not one to complain, but this level of service is unacceptable. Surely, someone should be checking the quality of their order process. This has been a massive letdown from a brand I once trusted.

Failed customer service supervisor

Based on my last interaction with a supervisor in CUSTOMER SERVICE, by the name of Kevin C., wouldn't give last name which I consider quite unprofessional, I will no longer be doing business with that organization, after more than 50 years of patronage. Furthermore, he took the liberty, without my approval, to remove me from notifications via email and text. Way to go Kevin C.

Poor quality control

This is my third pair, each of them having a very similar problem. My first pair always had a problem on the right boot zipping up easily. Finally, the zipper teeth ripped away from the boot, making it unfixable. The souls in condition of the boot were still in great shape. However, my old boots need to be thrown away. I ordered a second pair only defined the right boot would not zipper down in the same spot that the other one busted. I had to return them. Third pair came, and they at least zipper up and down. However, again on the right boot this time a little lower, there is an area that is difficult to zipper. I foresee these boots suffering the same fate as my first pair. All these issues have always been on the right side boot all of these issues happen with or without my foot in the boot. We’ll see how I feel about things the next time I need boots and whether or not I will shop this brand again. Very disappointed.

Florsheim Shoes: NOT what they used to be.

Their website said Free Shipping-Easy Returns. Missed what was buried on the 3 page, $10 flat fee for returns and wrapped in plastic. They actually charge me $12 and the cost of a plastic envelope was $6 for a total of $18 to try on a pair of shoes that were not at all like the Florsheim shoes in my past. Material was not flexible, no arch support and the shoe was too long. I called customer service and sent them an email with no response to either. Please save yourself the trouble and do not shop through their website. Zero Stars!

FLORSHEIM LACK OF HONESTY

I am close to 70-years old and have been in Florsheim shoes since my Mother bought them for me as a grade school child. They have always been well made and TRUE TO SIZE.....well that is until recently. My recent online order from them came with very flawed sizing. WAY too long. Sent back for exchange for smaller size. Still way too long. Sent back for full refund, but they held back a portion of the money while stating to me that they show they refunded it all. My electronic records and the Bank Rep say they never refunded the leftover amount due me and the Bank is not able to dispute a partial amount. So....I wish I would have read these similar NEGATIVE reviews on here. Obviously I will not go broke over the money owed. However....it is the principle. It's referred to as "honesty" ! Something that is "woefully" missing from our modern day society. Florsheim online sales will "nickel & dime" you at every opportunity. NOT TRUST WORTHY !! BEWARE Florsheim online !!

Loafers model 17188-05 shedding sole and heal

Bought a pair of 17188-05 loafers from a shoe store. Leather upper and lining; balance man made in India. Some kind of one-piece rubber-like sole and heal. Immediately the heal area fell off. The store replaced them. They are lightly used over two years, but now the whole sole is just crumbling and shedding. Not a quality product. I have pictures.

How could you cheat people by sending…

How could you cheat people by sending the wrong product to your customer and saying no return? these two shoes are having different names and prices.. You send me the Jackson shoes while my choice was Postino. The customer service is sitting there and answering what they are told to answer but do not have clue at all. Anyways, I didn't expect a big company like Florsheim to cheat people like this. Shame on you.EmojiEmoji

Check prices around before buying from their website as all online retailers sell cheaper than FLORSHEIM.COM

Florsheim makes excellent shoes. Purchased a pair from their website. And saw that Macy's is selling the exact same shoe over 30%-40% cheaper. So look around before buying from Florsheim as you may end up paying double with shipping if you buy from their website. Contacted their customer service and they were pretty rude instead of making it right. It is not the matter of few $$$ but made me feel stupid buying from their website

Horrible experience.

I have bought Floresheim shoes for a long time this was my first online order. The boots fit was horrible. When I attempted to return said boots I was informed that I had to provide my own return shipping container. I have never heard or seen such a practice since buying clothing or shoes online is a crap shoot at best and for a customer to have to get their own return container is ridiculous.
You have LOST a long time customer!! BEWARE !!!!

Completely Satisfied.

Bought a lack pair of shoes "duke" on line. I was a bit leery as my usual purchases are from shoe retailers. But to my pleasant surprise,the whole process was a breeze and bought another pair " duke" brown with the same excellent results. Hopefully their quality of service remains the same with the quality shoes they are selling.

Monroe's Family Shoe Center in Monroe

Monroe's Family Shoe Center in Monroe, NC is phenomenal! They have an ABC Board Certified Pedorthist on-site specializing in supportive footwear and customized orthoses! I am a diabetic and also recently was suffering with hammertoe. I went in since they have apex shoes (good shoes for diabetics) and he measured my feet, told me my shoes were too small & recommended a wide shoe and a 1/2 size bigger. He also made an insert customized to my foot and I have been a happy camper ever since. I swear I just want to scream it out to the world that this small shop is BIG on identifying and finding solutions for proper footwear for anyone suffering from plantar fasciitis, arthritis, foot deformities and even sports related injuries.PLEASE, take the time to go see them. You will not regret it and it can change your quality of life. They are at 1002 Skyway Drive in Monroe 28111

Outstanding customer service

Great footwear selection and amazing customer service! I have small-sized feet and it's always a struggle to find dress shoes of my size. I went to the South Melbourne Shop in 311 Clarendon St, the shop attendant, Tracy, went above and beyond to find a great pair of shoes for me. I could not be happier! They offer pretty good prices too!

My review pertains to online service…

My review pertains to online service and size discrepancy amongst the shoes.
Bought shoes the exact same size that I had previously done for florsheim shoes.
Yet one pair too big and the other too small.
Had to pay almost $20 to return my items.
Was told that the next size up for the smaller pair was not available.
Because they were sale items I was not refunded and advised by email that I would be getting a store credit.
Feel very ripped off by this online service having paid to return the items and then not getting my refund back as requested if size not available.
I feel the customer has paid exorbitantly for a lack of service and satisfaction.
Definitely will not order online with florsheim again unless they change this policy.
Disappointing as shoes are generally of good quality.
