Horrendous response to complaint
Appalled at the complete lack of customer service following a complaint. Prior to my 21 hour flight I purchased a better seat for £120 - only to then have a broken seat on the second 14.5 hour leg of the journey: resulting in being more uncomfortable than anyone else. I’ve reasonably requested the refund of the extra £120 I paid but all I’ve received is a meek apology.
Do not use this airline
Do not use this airline. Very unreliable and terrible customer service. They cancelled my flight without explanation and automatically re-booked my ticket for a different date without speaking to me.
I called to ask for a refund because I could not travel on the date they had selected. They had the audacity to charge me an $80 cancellation fee (for a flight I had never agreed to).
I asked to speak with a manager to discuss the $80 cancellation fee and was told no.
Very nice airline
Very nice airline, very good onboard service, organised ground staff. I flew business class with them in 2017 DXB-BWN-DXB and enjoyed the experience.
No refund after more than 5 months
My flight was canceled back in march this year. I bought a ticket via travel agent, they keep telling me they still didn't get the money from RBA. I asked for refund aplication form which they already received and RBA told me the refund process should take between 8-10 weeks. It´s been more than 5 months and I still didn't get anything from them. They are saying I have to contact Gotogate/Etraveli but they are keep telling me, they are sent a refund request form and also a refund reminder to RBA. I do not recomend this airline. Very dissapointed with the customer service!! Never again

Very impressed. Our tickets were very favourably priced and we enjoyed very comfortable economy flights from Heathrow to Melbourne and return. Cabin crew could not have been friendlier or more helpful. All flights were on Dreamliners, an excellent aircraft.

Ruin your honeymoon by traveling through Royal Brunei Airlines. I am traveling from Jeddah to Bali using this Airlines for the first time and will be the last. Flight No. BI002 Date: 1 Feb 2020. Our flight had to land in Dubai due to a passenger critical health case which had him to behospitalized urgently. However after waiting for long hours, we have been informed that flight has been cancelled, lost our transit flight and still waiting at Dubai airport for very long hours with big mess, no Hotel, no idea when is our flight. Thanks to Royal Brunei Airlines for making from our honeymoon bad experience.

Stop over in Brunei if you can, it's a great little destination to relax and enjoy the food.
I was pleasantly surprised
I was super impressed with the whole experience Melbourne to London. It's a pity their stopover holidays can't be booked from Melbourne (their computer system gets confused by the fact that the flight to London departs just after midnight and tries to make you pay for accommodation that night). And they really need to sort out affordable transportation to and from the airport after 6pm if they want people to visit their country. But my flights were punctual, the economy cabin crew and ground staff nice (no alcohol of course), and thankfully the flights weren't too full since some of the loos were malfunctioning. I'd recommend this airline.
