Ripped off scammers yeovil ford most of the reviews are when you buy a…
most of the reviews are when you buy a car ofcourse you are happy I was there is an excellent guy there called Neil in commercial. but
went in with a electronic issue the car was in limphome mode. all lights were on. street ford said take it to a master mechanic. :-) that was in yeovil.
they said we do the alternator and £1500 later that will be fixed. bit much but figured it was ford professionals. they rang back said that didnt fix it but they wont put the old alternator back and charge me for the £1500 then they said they need to check the wiring again which they already did. now £400 or more later they said its a contact. now £500 more
but no that didnt fix it so lets check wiring loom again ahh found it £900 or more now at about £2900ish. I can show people the bills. they said come collect it I did went 100yards and a light came on. I said hey there is a light.
he said ahh that was already there I said I know all lights came on you were meant to fix it he said no that will be investigation and fix investigation is about £132/hour. i thought screw that I'll just take it cant afford to get more ripped off.
went home next morning car wouldnt start. rang ford they said yeah it will cost to pickup and investigate.
THEY HADN'T FIXED THE CAR.
I called RAC to change battery £240 later all fixed
my point is the master mechanic so called didnt even change the battery
fords require a battery change roughly 5 years
so got rippid off
if you dont take this onboard that is fine but you will be ripped off here buying a car is always a happy experience try fixing one here never again
Great experience with the Sales team
Great experience with the Sales team. Very friendly and professional. Family have bought several cars from this business.
Yeovil parts department
Yeovil parts department. Spoke with Ryan very helpful, had the part I needed delivered next day.
Love the car but let down by the warrenty
Staff in the Bridgwater branch were lovely, despite now moving away. The car is great and we were given a 12-month warranty that we were assured covered everything except brake pads and tyres. There was a leak in the car, which was soaking the rear seats and causing condensation and mould, despite constant efforts to keep it dry. Rang up, and was told leaks were not included. Very disappointed as they were unwilling to help and blatantly lied about the warranty cover.
Could of been dangerous.
My Ford Mondeo had a recall on it for Air bags and front brake hoses so i took it to the Brigwater Foray Ford garage for the repair on 28/3/25. Luckily for me my Mondeo had done only a few miles when it went into my local garage for it's annual service on11/4/25 while there i received a phone call to say the off side brake pipe was leaking brake fluid so i asked them to repair it while they had the car which was done. It dose not bare thinking about what could of happened if the car had not gone in for the service and the leak had not been found. The Brakes could of failed due to the lack of fluid and if the wife and grandchildren had been in the car?. 12/4/25 I contacted Ford and a manager called me back i explained what had been found and he apologized and said Our technician's are trained to a high standard what do you want me to do I asked him if the car could be returned for inspection of that hose he said i will receive a call to book it in. Guess what as of 18/4/25 i am still waiting for the call. The car went in for a recall and came out with what could of potentially have been a dangerous fault. Honestly i am sorry but i do not think i will use these cowboys again.
Arranged to buy a transit
Arranged to buy a transit , signed finance docs and yeovil ford been paid out .Meant to be having the vehicle delivered 5/3/25 but decided to see the vehicle before paying the balance. Vehicle had scratches on the body work , cab smells , and found out it was due a services when I checked but clearly nothing was going to be done .I am second guessing unwinding the deal .
Not a good start
Bought a Mini Cooper S sport from Foray…
Bought a Mini Cooper S sport from Foray Bridgewater 3 months ago. The car has gone wrong already with a bill from Mini for nearly £1000 and the ‘12 month warranty’ their vehicles come with via RAMP is not worth the paper it is written on. Please read the reviews on Ramp before buying with this garage, as you will see there is a pattern of when the bill is large they insist on the car being taken apart (which you will have to pay for upfront) then they refuse to fix the car. Buyers please beware you basically get no real warranty with the vehicle you buy from Foray as Ramp just refuse to fix it. They were very keen to answer my calls when arranging payment and pick up, but sadly no call back when I needed help regarding recovery. Would not buy from them again.
Well we all know simply the BEST the stereo typical car…
Well we all know the stereo typical car salesman don’t we !!!
Well Dan at Edward’s Ford in Salisbury is far from that.
He is excellent in his customer service both in store and even after work he was replying to my questions on email.
We have bought many cars in the past and I have to say Dan is our TOP man you just couldn’t fault him and he is SO GENUINE.
He turned our daughter’s nightmare from a crash to one of utter delight. From Sale to driven away within 24 hours mechanically checked MOT’d petrol put in tank and sorted the car tax for her.
And Charlotte the sales manager even came and thanked us which was a lovely touch”even loaded with a stinking cold”
We cannot thank Dan enough.
Why buy from anyone else!!! Not anymore in this family it’s DAN we go first choice.

Beware of the "Inspection" rip off fee
Recently bought a second hand Puma from Yeovil Ford that was just over 3 years old. Thought the one month warranty was a bit stingy. However, we still decided not to take out the extended warranty as we considered it a bit pricey. After just 6 weeks the screen washer motor failed. The cost of replacing this was a lot less than what we would have paid for the extended warranty, so although a little disappointed that we had a repair bill shortly after purchasing the Puma, we were still happy that we took the right decision about not purchasing the extended warranty as if we had, we would have been out of pocket.
However what really got me annoyed was Yeovil Ford’s insistence that we would have to pay £75 for “an assessment inspection” to determine the cause of the washers not working. That’s before any cost of fixing the problem !! This was not made clear to us when we purchased the car. My first thought was it might be a blown fuse that was causing the washers not to work and the guy at Yeovil Ford agreed with this – but he said we would still have to pay the £75 “inspection” to determine this.
So, let’s go through the “inspection” process. 1. Open the car bonnet – 10 seconds. 2. Open the fuse box – 10 seconds. Replace the fuse – 20 seconds. Total time 40 seconds. Let’s round this up to 1 minute. 75 x 60 = 4500 equates to an hourly rate of £4,500 an hour.
How on earth can they justify this? What about fostering good customer relations and waive the ridiculous “assessment inspection” fee which is a total rip off?
I decided not to pay this exorbitant fee and took the Puma to a garage where I’ve been going to for many years. They found out it was not the fuse, (30 seconds), and then spent about an hour dismantling various bits of the car to get at the washer motor which is very awkward to get at. They determined it was the washer motor that needed replacing and they would have to order it in. Another 20 minutes taken to put the car back together so I could drive it away. Total cost for this “inspection” - £0 – yes ZERO !!
They ordered the motor and a few days later had the car back in to replace it. I was told by this garage that they have had quite a few customers come to them with similar tales about Yeovil Ford.
So the moral of this tale is BEWARE OF THE “INSPECTION” RIP OFF FEE”

Excellent service from the Taunton branch.
I recently purchased my second car from here, I did a part x from the puma i had bought earlier in the year, I loved my puma, but as im not really driving much these days, i opted to Part X for a much smaller car.
I had a different sales person, but still 5* service by the taunton branch, the staff are a credit to yourselves and Ford as a whole.
My sales person this time was sales manager Sally, she went above and beyond. Nothing was to much trouble.
I had initially settled on one car, but then changed my mind, I'm aware Sally had prepped the car, only for me to change my mind, and choose a different car, I felt bad but didn't need to, because at no point, did Sally show me anything but patience and understanding.
You never feel pushed into your purchase or rushed into just any car, they genuinely care here and want the very best for each customer, which I really like.
To everyone at the Taunton branch, thank you so very much yet again. You are all a credit to your branch manager and Foray Ford

Knowledgeable and customer-focused dealership!
I recently had a fantastic experience with Foray Motor Group. The team provided exceptional service, taking the time to understand my needs and recommending the best car for me. They thoroughly explained all the features and details about the motor, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Their prices are very reasonable, and I wouldn't go to any other dealership when looking for a car. I highly recommend Foray Motor Group for anyone in search of a knowledgeable and customer-focused dealership!

Very Pleased with the Experience
My insurance company required me to use Edwards Ford for the minor repairs to my Nissan Micra after a bump. The communication was excellent, with David in Salisbury explaining clearly what would happen, and why I shouldn't bring my car in until the hire car had arrived (obvious really!) They gave me a lift home after dropping the car off, and brought the car back to me on completion. The repairs are seamless and the whole car came back spotless. Very pleased with my experience.

Make sure they can provide all they offer before you buy!
During sales process was told extended warranty available to include roadside recovery and annual servicing cost. Was bombarded with emails covering all different types of insurance and warranty alas not the one discussed. Reminded the sales guy who said he would follow up but didn't. Called him and was told he would call back but didn't. Finally got hold of him only to be told the car does not qualify and with no suggestions of an alternative.

We had two pumas
We had two pumas, two years old and were asked to come in to see what could be done. First visit last Saturday07/09 the salesman couldn’t have been less interested if he tried, told there was no equity in the car and it would cost us over £300 a month more for the new puma, not willing to look at any other deals, figures etc and said go away and come back in a month or so. Second visit today, told this car in negative equity and best to keep for another year! Thanks, in a years time the negative equity would be even worse. I suppose you are hoping we just hand over the car for nothing. Considering we have bought 5 cars from you I expected more. Went over the road to Toyota totally different attitude. Will never buy from there again.

Make sure you have the paint work checked on a service
4 services and not one of the paint work check carried out even though it was part of the service then when the wheel arches rust on a 71 plate transit custom it is the customers fault for not checking and ford are not interested
UPDATE tried to contact foray motor group and no one would get back to me so there comments are all hot air

English Ford Poole
If you are a female and know little about cars, I’d avoid English Ford at all costs!! I had my MOT done on Friday and was told it was a fail due to “suspension arm ball joint dust cover” this was deemed as a major defect and repair immediately,
I was called by a lady on the service department and told it would be £790 for them to repair it or £555 with non genuine parts, as it was such a large amount of money I wanted to go elsewhere for a 2nd opinion and see if I can get a better price, I was then told by the female staff member that my current MOT was now invalid (it was valid until the 18th Aug) and it was implied that I couldn't take my car elsewhere, as I am not allowed to drive it, but the casual “we can’t stop you” was loosely thrown around.
Only after calling another garage for a 2nd opinion was I advised this was totally incorrect and my current MOT was very much still valid and that I can take my car anywhere I like for the repair, I was also told on the phone that I could have my car MOT’d again for free within 10days providing I have the work done by English Ford! Again totally wrong information given again!
Since going to two other garages today, I have been advised the work should of been an “advisory” at best, and have since had the repair and MOT re-done for a fraction of the cost!
Terrible experience, misleading information given over & over again, makes you wonder how many other people have been ripped off in this way, you would think a large dealership such as Ford would know better.

Joel Catalo - 5 Star Service (Poole)
Joel Catalo was brilliant throughout the whole process. We'd had a difficult move from Peterborough to Poole and with both cars on finance originally through TC Harrison we were told that transferring our plans outside of this group was not an option! We were so relieved when we were told that this certainly was NOT the case and could transfer to another vechile (as we like to upgrade every 2 to 3 years). The experience was pain free and so enjoyable. We went through detailed options together and Joel wasn't satisfied until we were 100% happy. I finally got my hands on an automatic Kuga and couldn't be happier. I was shown all the features and had lots of time to ask questions. Joel even fitted my car seat for my 2 year old, booked my car in for MOT and nothing was too much to ask for. Above and beyond!!
Thank you so much for an A* Service. Top chap.
