I was contacted by Fraser and Fraser…
I was contacted by Fraser and Fraser after an Uncle had passed away who I had lost contact with. It hadn’t taken them long to trace myself since he had passed away, to the point my Uncle’s funeral hadn’t taken place, sadly we weren’t informed of this so he had a funeral without any family. We are coming up to two years since first contact and have been kept up to date through each process, hopefully we are now coming to the end and things will be finalised. I find it a bit unusual to ask for a review before everything is sorted and feel I’m “held to ransom” if a review is not done then I won’t get a Full Family Tree even though it is stated in the brochure I received upon first contact.

Good Service from Fraser & Fraser
Fraser & Fraser contacted me in late March 2023 with the news of my deceased & (up until now) unknown relative. They have conducted the administration of the estate in a terse, respectful tone & professional manner, helpful & polite via letters & phone. However, disappointed at the failure to update with new information on the online "client zone" & the request for a review with the promise of a Family tree could be interpreted as an "incentive". I was led to believe (through the literature supplied by Fraser & Fraser) that a family tree would be provided as part of the agreed package & not only after a review had been provided by the client.
Nevertheless, mostly pleased with the quality of service. It has taken about a year to process the case & it's now very near completion. Looking forward to receiving my family tree & grateful for the money. R.I.P.Christopher.

We understand your disappointment in regards to the lack of updates on the client zone and the mention of a family tree as an incentive for a review. We want to clarify that there is absolutely no incentive for a leaving a review, and we apologise if the wording was misinterpreted.
The family tree you already received with all case information is indeed part of the standard agreed package. Additionally, we offer a more substanial family tree, presented as an hourglass family tree but provides the same information as the one you have already recieved.
We regret the client zone is not fully functional. We are actively working on improvements for the site. In the meantime, our case managers remain available to provide regular updated via email or phone throughout the process.
Thank you again for your feedback. We value your opinion and are committed to providing the best possible service to our clients.

From having an initial phone call to receiving a substantial cheque Frazer & Frazer have been nothing but first class. In particular praise should be given to our case manager Andy Loakes for his excellent work, professional manner and kindness all the way though the long process. It was an amazing surprise to be informed out of the blue about an inheritance from a deceased cousin of whom I’d no knowledge whatsoever. This company specialise in genealogy and tracking down relatives of the deceased without a will. As I have a family tree website i was suddenly inundated with calls.
It got so bad that I had to refuse to answer all incoming calls.

Contacted out of the blue, re distant relative and possible inheritance. Although took time, not helped by Covid. There was minimal effort required from me. I would like to thank Fraser and Fraser for all they have done to keep us informed about timescales and managing expectations regarding a distant relatives estate and its distribution. They kept us informed as to how much the total estate was worth, how long it would take to distribute and how many inheritors there were likely to be. They provided a family tree and even sent us family photos collected from our relatives home. They have been quick to reply to any and all correspondence. I could not recommend them enough.
