AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Incredibly poor service, borderline criminal dealings. In Coastal South Carolina, put in a claim on a 17 year old roof for storm damage, Frontline denied the claim, then sent a notice that they would cancel my coverage if I didn't pay to get the roof fixed on my own.
Sent multiple photos and copies of estimates and invoice for THE new roof, got cancelled anyway because an actual receipt was not included.
Very crooked. Avoid!

Excellent a second time

For the second time in a span of just over two years, the central living areas of my home were damaged by two unrelated flooding events. In both cases, the Frontline insurance company delivered a fair and equitable settlement.

Because I have acquired a severe hearing loss due to my age, I rely on reading closed captions to function on the telephone. Unfortunately, that reliance slows everything down to the speed of reading instead of the speed of speaking.

Christine Bentley, who was the adjuster on both claims, displayed exceptional patience, kindness and good humor while working with me to reach satisfactory settlements despite my disability. I’m grateful that she and her team at Frontline Insurance extended themselves to bring an end to the disruption that follows unexpected events like this. And isn't this the most important reason people buy homeowner’s protection?

Frontline has proven itself to be a reliable partner once again.

Jumping Through Hoops

If you purchase a home policy from them be prepared to jump through numerous hoops and probably have to do repairs. My home sits 2 1/2 miles from the Atlantic Ocean with nothing but marsh and tidal creeks between us. This company specializes writing policies in high risk coastal locations.

I have 4 cars, boat, 2 jet skies, golf cart and an umbrella policy and my home insured was State Farm for over 25 years. State Farm no longer writes homeowners where I live but continued to keep my policy for a premium of $21,000 a year with $1,250,000 dwelling coverage and a $25,000 hurricane deductible. I switched to Frontline for the same coverage for $7958 a year.

If your home is not in flawless condition both inside and out and maintained that way at all times move on because they expect nothing less and will cancel you in a heartbeat.

If you live near the coast, more than 10 miles, there are far better options.

Minus 5 Stars is my rating if I could…

Minus 5 Stars is my rating if I could give it. Tricked us into leaving USAA Homeowners after 31 years of zero claims, never any homeowners claims or hurricane damage except a few pool lanai screens I replaced myself. They had our home professionally inspected prior to issuing us the policy. They issued us insurance at a bait rate on Feb 15th, 2025, and notified us of cancellation 6 weeks later on April 2nd, 2025, claiming our 9 year old top line Owens-Corning 130mph, 50 year warranted, roof was deteriorating. We’ve had inspectors and roofers look at the roof and no one sees any issues. Frontline won’t show us their report that they had done prior to baiting us in. Now we’re screwed as USAA wants an unaffordable triple the rate to reissue. This is a grossly corrupt and/or incompetent insurance company. I haven’t been able to sleep much for days from the stress they caused me. I’m a 71 year old disabled Veteran and my wife has terminal cancer. We don’t need this treatment. Stay away from Frontline Insurance! Pure garbage!

Many inspections/repairs

So far we have jumped thru hoops for Frontline.
After signing up for homeowners insurance they have requested and we jave complied to a 4 point in home inspection, which they said we needed new washing machine hoses which the plumber said were fine. Exterior spigots needed replacing which we did. Trees and shrubs had to be cut back because the branches were too close to the new roof and soffets. I sent photos on all sides of the home.
Still they aren't satisfied and are requesting more.
I went online to read reviews they went from 5 stars to 3.12 stars.
My suggestion is go to State Farm tried and true!
