Do Not Order Chocolate in Heat!!!
The 1st time I purchased a chocolate hamper it was perfect, but the most recent one was hugely disappointing.
DO NOT ORDER IN THE HEAT
I understand that products can be affected by the heat, but didn't realise that the chocolate bars in the hampers would be so badly damaged.
I ordered a £50 hamper as a hospital gift. It arrived perfectly packaged and put straight inside, but on opening the bars they were all discoloured and tasted awful. All the bars were damaged which I didn't realise until the staff started opening them.
So I emailed the contact on the email order. No reply. Sent a further email, still no reply. Then 3 days later I tried the chat and managed to talk to the "Manager". My options were a 25% refund or send it back and the email address on the confirmation didn't exist. So not only were the damaged products not my fault, but the email address I contacted was also not my fault for being incorrect. Well I could only send back the 10 bars which wasn't acceptable to the manager, it was a gift so wasn't expecting to even have it to send back. What really got to me is the lack of rectifying the issue. They were happy to take £50 of my money and just refund 25% and then send 3 bars for free as an apology.

We appreciate how disappointing it must have been for the hamper to arrive in this condition, especially as it was intended as a hospital gift.
When you contacted us, we asked for photographs of the damaged items so that we could assess the issue. The images provided showed two damaged chocolate bars, and while they had been affected by the heat, they still appeared to be safe for consumption. As we were only able to verify the damage to those two bars, we arranged replacements for them as a gesture of goodwill. We did also apply a discount of 25%.
Unfortunately, as the hamper had already been gifted and the remaining items were no longer available for inspection, we were unable to assess or replace products that we had not seen. We appreciate that this was frustrating, but we do have to base our resolution on the evidence available.
During periods of exceptionally hot weather, we also advise customers of the increased risk of heat-related damage and temporarily pause dispatches where possible to help prevent this situation from occurring.
We value all customer feedback and are sorry that you were left feeling disappointed. Your comments will be shared with our team as we continue to review how we handle these situations and communicate with customers.
Great 1960's Hamper
Ordered the 1960's nostalgic sweet hamper as part of a friend's birthday.
Packaged well,delivery was 2 to 3 days but delivered on the 4th day which was fine.
Hamper looks great and so pleased I have now ordered another gift for my dad.
Company email you right away as soon as you order.
They also give you a wee card for a discount, which is a lovely touch.
Would recommend if you are looking for something a little special.

Good prompt service.
The Sweets from the 1960s had all the sweets that I remembered growing up as a child.My husband loved it and has enjoyed chomping away.There was a good variety and a generous amount for each one. Definitely buy again.

I’m glad I came across this website. I wanted to create a hamper for someone but the set hampers I saw online from a variety of different websites, didn’t quite have what I was looking for but this site has the option to create your own hamper so you can really personalise it! It arrived quickly and the recipient loved it!

Poor customer service
Poor customer service. Parcel was delivered as a gift and left outside in the pouring rain. The parcel then went missing. No other way to get in touch with the company other than email. The contact number on the website is a third party who passes message on. Cannot speak directly to the company. Will not use this company again. Have lost money and an order.

Our customer service team is available via our contact form and live chat. We respond to all enquiries as quickly as possible, although we do ask customers to allow up to 24 hours for a response during busy periods.
Having reviewed your case, I can see that once your enquiry had been picked up and our checks were completed, a full refund was issued.

I bought a mixed sweet and chocolate hamper as a Get Well gift. It was absolutely fantastic there was so much. Large separate packets of sweets and chocolate. I also added a Get Well picture for the inside of the box. So no need for another card. It made the recipients day they were so happy and enjoyed all the goodies inside. Good value for money.
