Philip and Elam delivery guys were exceptional. Very professional, polite and informative. They put protection on my floors, offered to put shoe coverings on and took their time to ensure the dining room table was level, adjusting the extension part and the legs. Took all the rubbish away.

I’d probably give a 3 star review on Furniture Village delivery communication. Ordered beginning of January 2026, was told delivery would be within 21 days and then heard nothing from them. Had to chase for a delivery date numerous time.

Quick and easy sale with Simon, no silly chatter, straight to the point and very helpful.

Purchased 1 bar table and tall standing chest if drawer, both arrived with a small chip. Sent the email with evidence pictures and a reminder again. However, no reply at all and when called they were not even able to find the email.
Please reconsider before purchasing.
2 stars for good product but no value as damaged.

Exceptional service from purchase through to delivery. Furniture Village are to be congratulated on maintaining a level of service that can sometimes be hard to come by in this day and age. Philip at the Abingdon store made purchasing our new sofa a pleasure, a true professional. We will be returning shortly to look at armchairs even though we live 25 miles away, because it's worth travelling a bit further to get good customer service. A big thank you to Bogdan and Mike who delivered our sofa on the 6th February. They were both very pleasant and spent time making sure the sofa was positioned in the right place and I was happy with it before leaving. Thank you.

The team at Furniture village made the whole experience relaxed, there was no pressure selling at all but sensible suggestions were offered. It was a pleasant experience and we bought two sofas, delivery was arranged for the beginning of February. We were kept informed of progress at all stages and it arrived as expected on the 7th February. The two guys that made the delivery "Mickel & Chris" impressed us with their attitude and humour. Chris before he walked in the house laid down a cloth to take his shoes off, Mickel had over shoes on. They carried all the parts in and assembled them in record time explaining everything as it went along. These two men clearly enjoyed their work as they joked with each other and us. we offered them refreshments but they politely. refused. Two polite and nice guys and a credit to their employer.

We went to furniture village looking for a small corner sofa, as we have limited space. We opted for a modular unit that we saw in the floor and liked, just a smaller version. When we went through to the financing options we found that though we wanted a smaller sofa, the price was almost £1000 more! When we discussed this with the sales advisor, Lou, he explained that the larger model is priced at a discount as they get it cheaper from the manufacturer in that configuration.
We went away to remeasure our living room to see if we could have the larger model- paying a thousand pounds more for a smaller model did not sit right with us!
Unfortunately we could not make it fit, so we went back to the store with our tail between our legs to buy the smaller sofa at the more expensive price. When we arrived, Lou found us again, and welcomed us back. He said he had been thinking of us and felt awful that we were being stung for more money for a smaller sofa. He went away and spoke with the manger who came to double check the size of sofa we needed.
In the end, thanks to Lou’s sweet talking we got a nice little discount! He was very kind and lovely to talk to throughout the whole process. He’s a credit to the store and they are lucky to have someone who cares that much working there!

The salesman was absolutely brilliant listened to our requirements and pointed us in the right direction he explained everything about the dinning room table and chairs so we purchased that and a display unit to match,then we asked him for ideas on sofas we wanted something firm and reclining again he showed us this beautiful settee it was comfortable reclining just perfect so we bought two settee and a swivel chair a perfect afternoon shopping spending 7K

Good explanation of the products in the shop.Good update on delivery.The delivery team of Rob and Matt were courteous and careful (including removing footwear)
