Overall a good shopping experience and great delivery service.

My husband and I picked up two bedframes here and the customer service was impeccable! Hayleigh is such a delight to chat with, and she gave us so much great advice when we were looking at the bedframe options, as well as with arranging delivery.

Alana was amazing - so much product knowledge and such a beautiful personality - can’t wait to come back and get additional things

We had a great experience shopping for a sofa thanks to the excellent service we received from Tom. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful, giving us plenty of information while allowing us to browse at our own pace.

This has been the second time I was in the store. First time no member of staff acknowledged us at all. This time a lovely Lady welcomed us and asked how we were. Made a huge difference in shopping in the store.

Andrew was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and made our furniture buying experience enjoyable. We bought a sofa and a mattress and Andrew gave us an excellent deal and was accommodating with the delivery date to coincide with our move in date. Highly highly recommend and would definitely use Andrew in the future

Excellent service from Andrew. He spent the time to explain the various options, pros and cons of the numerous different mattresses available within their store, they do have quite a considerable range of the high end bedding companies available. Worked out an attractive pricing for us.

Good service especially on being informed of delivery and great guys who delivered but trying to get through to them after is a nightmare they tell you to use live chat but it doesn’t work

I visited Furniture Village Edinburgh on 8 June 2026 with the intention of making a substantial purchase, including a bed, bar table and chairs, rug, and potentially a sofa.

On a previous visit (7 June), I received excellent customer service from a member of staff, which is why I returned. However, my experience on 8 June was completely different.

I am a wheelchair user with communication difficulties following a stroke. During my interaction with a staff member named Andrew, I experienced what I can only describe as dismissive, rude, and unprofessional behaviour. I felt pressured, spoken down to, and not treated with the patience or respect I would expect as a customer.

There were also inconsistencies in pricing information between visits, and when I asked reasonable questions, I was met with a dismissive attitude. The interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome.

I left the store without purchasing anything due to the way I was treated. The distress from the experience had a significant impact on my wellbeing.

I have since raised a formal complaint with the company, but I felt it was important to share my experience publicly so other customers are aware of the level of service I received.

I hope the company takes steps to ensure all customers are treated with respect, patience, and professionalism, particularly those with disabilities.

Just purchased our beautiful new leather sofa from Robert and what an amazing experience we encountered. An Absolutely genuine top bloke who provides excellent, knowledgeable, customer care &service .From the minute we entered the store we were welcomed and felt like a truly valued customer. No hard selling just a very relaxed & friendly approach which made our visit so refreshing and enjoyable. An Asset to the business . We were seen by Brian Marshall at Straiton/Loanhead. He was welcoming knowledgeable patient and very friendly. He walked us through our options and we were extremely pleased with his service. Brian is an asset to your company. Excellent.

Your salesman - Brian Marshall certainly knew his products . We were shown various mattresses and allowed to test them until we found the right one. He then offered us various mattress protectors and various pillows which I tested until I found the correct one. I was going to other shops but your salesman convinced me to buy the mattress and was very professional

I took my elderly friend to look for a new bed. We went to the store at Straiton we were met by Gary (I think that was his name) he was very nice and kind too my friend. There was no hard sell he allowed her to browse but was on hand to help. It was a very pleasant trip.

The delivery was great. Kept up to date with progress and extremely accommodating with making sure the furniture arrived as expected. Worked over and above to ensure that the items were delivered exactly where required.

Loved being able to walk around looking without being harassed or followed. Found what I wanted and Hayleigh did the rest 👍
