⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Service from Victor – A Truly Enjoyable Experience

We recently purchased a new sofa and chair from Furniture Village Clifton Moor York, and I wanted to say a huge thank you to Victor for making the whole experience such an enjoyable one.

From the moment we walked into the showroom, Victor was warm, welcoming and approachable. He struck the perfect balance of being available whenever we needed him without ever making us feel pressured or followed around the store. He gave us the time and space to browse at our own pace, while always being on hand to answer any questions.

He was incredibly knowledgeable about the furniture, explaining the construction, materials, guarantees and care options clearly and professionally, making everything easy to understand without ever feeling overwhelming. His advice was honest, informative and genuinely helpful, which gave us complete confidence in our decision.

The complimentary coffee was also a lovely touch and helped make the whole experience feel relaxed rather than rushed.

Buying furniture is a significant purchase, and thanks to Victor’s friendly manner, professionalism and excellent customer service, it became an exciting and enjoyable experience rather than a stressful one.

Furniture Village should be very proud to have team members like Victor representing their company. He is a real credit to the store, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both Victor and Furniture Village to family and friends.

Very good and informative . Introduced himself, Victor and asked if we needed help and would we like a drink. Showed us fabric samples and then left us to roam and look at everything. All much appreciated as attentive but not pushy. Came to us straight away to answer question and take the samples outside in the best light. So friendly Vctor and another made dinning recommendations too. 5*

We had a great experience dealing with Austin at the York store. We had seen the Bodahl Njord oak tables on the Furniture Village website, so decided to pop into the store to have a further look. Austin was really helpful showing us all of the different options and finishes, explaining where the tables are made, and showed us a range of seating that was available. We ended up buying a lovely oak table and 6 matching chairs, and we are looking forward to taking delivery soon. Thank you Austin for assisting us and providing a great service.

The delivery guys were good but only got a text 20 minutes before they arrived notifying me of my time slot.

I got a phone call from Billy this afternoon in relation to a faulty chair. Part of order for my father.
He was pleasant, clear and efficient, did some checks as I was speaking on behalf of Dad.
Confirmed a replacement was to be arranged, dealt with this and said I would get an email shortly with details.
I can now pass this info on to Dad.

Excellent experience at Furniture village York, Victor went out of his way to help us, gave us advice on products but then also lots of time for us to consider and try the different mattresses. We came on an evening and even though it was close to closing time, victor did not rush us and made for a great shopping experience! Would def recommend- can’t wait for my new mattress to arrive!

My partner and I called into the store and on arrival we were met by a gentleman called Victor a salesman, who offered us a drink. We felt no pressure as Victor gave us the outlay of the store and some fabrics available. At this point we were left to browse. We called Victor over and asked a few questions, he answered professionally and gave us options available. We felt like one of the family. Yes we did purchase 2 x 2 seater and a chair. Victor then handed us over to Simon the shop floor manager, again Simon made us feel welcome, I can honestly say the gentleman that dealt with us are a credit to Furniture Village York.
Well done gents we will be back.

Victor was an exceptional salesman. He gave us the information we needed about the sofas we were looking at but then left us browse and discuss our thoughts without any pressure. Great service - We were welcomed at the door, everyone seemed lovely, we were offered a drink too, didn’t feel like we were being forced into purchasing but felt like staff were approachable for help and questions. David helped us - he was great, got it sorted efficiently and quickly as we had somewhere to be and coudnt ask for more. Would definitely recommend
