First time I've used game online as the store doesn't do any pre orders anymore which is sad tbf loved seeing the staff but the delivery was good and the game can't wait to play silent hill 2

The fact it was a genuine game store. The staff were patient and provided accurate knowledge on the products I had an interest in. Environment was friendly and accomodating

I came in on 06/09/24 and was served at…
I came in on 06/09/24 and was served at 12:38 by a male game employee. The whole time I was browsing the shop the only employee at the desk was texting on his phone. I chose my snacks and walked over to pay. He never stopped texting until i finished putting my snacks on the desk. 2 of my snacks were Cadbury dairy milk caramel because they were on discount for £1.25 i made sure to face that discounted label towards the employee so he doesn't miss it. He scanned it all quick and as i was starting to pay he pulled out his phone again. I was baffled by his short attention span. But i gave him benefit of the doubt and maybe the texting was important. Also I paid for the snacks with a voucher I had so i kept every receipt. I came back yesterday 08/09/24 and i found the receipt from the 6th. I looked and noticed the lazy phone using employee charged me £2.50 each for the 2 Cadbury caramel chocolates. I dont even like caramel and bought it solely for the reason it was discounted. I could have got nicer tasting chocolates for that price. I flagged this with the different woman at the till about the whole situation but she didnt bother to apologise for her colleague or offer to amend his mistake. She also told me that discounts need to be entered manually and so i realised that the male employee simply wanted to get back to texting ASAP so he just skipped applying my discount on those caramel sweets which im saying again are my least favourite. Next time i shop at this game ill most likely take the items to the sports direction section. They usually wish me a nice day after serving me too and charge me correct.

"Disappointing Store Policy Changes"
I regularly shop at Games Store to purchase and trade games. Recently, the store closed down, which was disappointing. However, I discovered a new Games Store at Coventry City Centre within the new store Sport Direct. Unfortunately, I learned that they no longer honor the points system, even though I had existing credits on my card that they refused to use. The store informed me that they discontinued the points system, which was disheartening. When I tried to return the game which i bought 5 minutes ago, I was told that only faulty items could be returned and I needed to provide proof of the fault. This sudden change in store policy was surprising and disappointing. Overall, the changes in the store's policies left me feeling unsatisfied and I would not recommend visiting or purchasing from them again.
