Cannot fault the initial conversations and the initial build went well. However since the build was completed approx 6 weeks ago there are 2 defects one a major one and the other minor which is a small gap where one of the doors does not close properly. The structural issue is the main concern and has been escalated to Jason (company owner?) A 1 inch gap has appeared and runs across the entire back wall of the garden room.

Despite my best efforts to have this corrected Jason continues to avoid talking to me and has no intention of sending anyone around to fix this. I had a brief message earlier today stating someone will be there next week but no name, time or date. This guys integrity is more than questionable. My next step is a legal one having spent 11k. Clearly after sales support and customer care isnt this lads strong point. But I will catch up with him soon. Be wary.

We have had our garden room for 8 months , took 7 weeks to get it built , but was happy when it was finished 5x3 como , in November it leaked a bit in that week off terrible rain , the guys came round fixed the problem and it has been fine ever since , and we have lots off fun with ours darts , pool room bar and TV.

We bought middle off January got built 2 weeks ago took 14 days , we had a bathroom shower and toilet put in , longer than was expected , one day the guys didn’t turn up but were there the next day , overall positive experience love our garden room.

We bought a como in November off Pauline , lovely lady made the sales experience really nice for us , the unit was supposed to come in early December but was late due to sickness and bad weather ?? But to be fair it was finished on the 23rd by David and his team so was a nice Xmas gift to ourselves.

I read some off the negative reviews and was not sure to buy a garden room off this company , but after a lot off chats with the salesman and the owner , we decided to go for it in January, it was finished 3 weeks ago , 6x4 , it came on time , the boys took about 7 days to build it , paint it etc , and I’ve got to say our experience has been positive, we had a problem with the door but John the builder came out and fixed it , so we are happy.

Bought a garden room of this company at the end of January is getting built this week half way through will let you no how it ends , the guys are very nice that are fitting it and it has went up quickly.

Would not recommend! I cancelled an order at the start of November 2025 when I discovered i had been missold a summer room with no insulation that I wouldn't be able to use in the winter! After quoting their refund policy to me, that it would take up to 24 days for my money to be refunded, I am still waiting on my money back! I cant express how much i would not recommend this company, they even tried to "offload" a unit to me after someone passed away! Not a moral between them, told lies from the sale to the last email they sent me telling me the funds had been transferred, which they haven't!!!

I contracted Garden Rooms Direct for a garden room build and unfortunately had a very poor experience. People i dealt with Jason ,Kyle , lewis all three lied , faked and destroyed my trust. I have full evidence , pictures messages and emails confirming what i am saying .
Nearly 20 grand for a garden room trading standards and consumers rights have been informed. I will not stop, i will tell the truth on every platform with proof . The actual frame of the rooms are from Dunster, getit gourself and hire a local business to build it. Do not trust this company. When trading standards checked the webiste the email there and contact number was incorrect. On facebook and Instagram my garden is posted and advertised as completed and perfect this is incorrect i will report it .

The structure delivered did not match what was ordered, materials differed from specification, drainage agreed during consultation was not installed, and water ingress occurred through the roof, walls, and joints.

The project was left incomplete, with ongoing issues during bad weather. Despite raising concerns in writing, I lost confidence in the workmanship and declined further access.

I would advise anyone considering this company to proceed with caution and ensure all specifications, materials, and timelines are confirmed in writing before proceeding.
Also look at the other reviews majorly been submitted in and around the same time afew days ago . How convenient when i am doing a case against him and his company all these random people adding reviews.
Trust me the reviews with 5 stars are people they know personally. Also this whole team used to work for apex garden rooms and have the same pictures and gallery of that business aswell. When i asked the team told me they all used to work for apex and left.

Our garden room has recently been finished and so far it’s looking like the best decision we’ve ever made for the house! The kids come in from school and we hardly see them as they’re out playing in their new out house, watching TV and playing with all their toys. This has saved SO MUCH SPACE in the house and at a fraction of the cost of an extension, which we had originally been planning. Heats up nicely within a few minutes of the radiator going on and no doubt this will be used all throughout the winter. My thanks to Liam who came out at the start to find the perfect size and model for us, and all the team who kept us in the loop from placing the order in June to completion a little over a month ago. Can’t recommend highly enough!

After looking into the idea of an extra room on the rear of the property for some time .we decided to book an appointment with Garden Homes.
The gentlemen who visited us was called Shaun he was very helpful he was very knowledgeable and gave us fantastic advice he was not pushy at all we have decided to go ahead and work to start on our project in the new year ..

Had Shaun round to quote me on a garden room project I had in mind. Very good and knew his stuff. I’m going to be placing an order over the next week or so to get our project underway in January. Had a few companies out to quote and Shaun was definitely the best, and wouldn’t hesitate recommending him and the company to anyone else.

After recently looking into garden homes direct i decided to book an appointment. My experience with Shaun was very knowledgeable and answered every question I asked. No pushy sales at all and would recommend 100% .

Amazing customer service, fantastic group of people to work with, from inquiring to having our appointment with Lewis. Unfortunately a garden room wasn’t for us and we have since decided to move home to a bigger property however feel like this company deserve the 5 star rating as they have been amazing from start to finish and helped me every step in making that decision. We are already considering a cozy nook out back in our new home, simply because of how amazing this company have been. Would highly recommend.

We were considering adding an additional room in our backyard. We felt comfortable to go with garden homes direct because of their years of experience, knowledgeable representatives and seamless process from saying yes to completion.

We bought a garden room from this company in July 2025, it was built in September 2025, and right from the start it has been an absolute disaster, Jason Wynne, apparently the owner of the company to which I have noticed has written a review further down. As our garden room was built in the summer time it was dry and sunny when it was "finished", 1 week later when we got a bit of a rainy storm thats when the issues arose, Leaking Roof, leaking walls, water coming up from the ground, leaking window frames, ect, the list goes on. Contacted the company straight away, weeks later and many phone discussions later they finally sent someone out to "have a look" many calls and discussion later they finally agreed to fix the roof, which it has been fixed now. Then many more phone discussion about the leaking walls, another 2 coats of paint, loads of silicon, grouting out and patching in of joins and still no further forward, it is now 04/12/2025 and we are still unable to use our garden room, if i was able to add pictures and videos I would, we have had to get trading standards involved and as of today this is our 2nd time contact trading standards, they are full of empty promises and lies, 14.500k for something we have had for 4 months and not once had the use off. We have now also had to get an independent trader in to give us written evidence and quote of what needs doing to rectify the issues. We have given this company chance after chance, we were also spoken to very rudely by an associate called Mark on the phone this morning. Our advice is avoid this company like the plague. I gave a 1 star only because it wouldn't allow me to write a review without it, otherwise it most definitely have been a minus. And don't bother commenting on their FB page as your comments will only be removed unless they are good comments.

The Guys and girls at Garden homes direct could not have made the experience any easier.
From first point of contact until the fitting team leaving was 1st class.
