We specialise in LPG and Natural Gas fittings, providing a full arsenal of LPG regulators and changeover units, ranging to gas and electric meter boxes, replacement meter box doors, hoses and MPDE fittings for both domestic and commercial purposes. We also offer a wide range of products for the camping and caravan industry including regulators, hoses, boiling rings, portable cooking stations.

Not received items I've paid for no replys either

No replies to email paid for gas change over valves with next day delivery low and behold they haven't arrived wish I'd checked there other reviews
.tried to contact them no avail
IAM always weary if any company that doesn't have a telephone support line
Avoid at all costs !

Thank you for your purchase, and I'm very sorry to hear you're disappointed with our service. We always reply to customer emails within 4 working hours of receiving the email, as we did with yours. I'm sorry to see that this review was left within those four hours.

In regards to the delivery of your order, as you ordered over a bank holiday weekend with our 'Next Working Day' service, I believe the bank holiday Monday meant you received your order a day later than you imagined. This delivery policy is on every product page of the website, and also on our dedicated 'Delivery' page. However, I'm very sorry if this caused any confusion or wasn't clear enough.

We always aim to address all customer issues within four working hours of receiving them, and to solve them as soon as possible after this, just as we managed to with your order.

We hope to see you again soon. Have an excellent rest of the week!

Delivered quickly

Delivered quickly and in good condition. Perfect match for the old box. Took a bit of adjustment to the back plate to fit the new box due to some old roughcast. Once on I noticed that one of the hinges had broken. Soft plastic and not very durable hence one star removed. Notice that the plastic hinge is screwed on to the box so maybe that is a known weakness.

6 May 2026 Mentioned to the company that one of the hinges had been broken and two replacement hinges were sent. Now just have to fit them. Great customer service.

Bad company service.

Ordered a gas meter door, arrived poorly packaged and damaged. Put the door on, noticed it was chipped at the top. No replacement as it’s been ‘fitted’. Won’t use again.

Excellent customer service

The gas box I ordered was twice damaged in transit and I received no quibble replacements on both occasions despite having already installed the first gas box I received before I noticed any damage. I also received a free fire pit with my order! Very happy to recommend this company.

Ordered a replacement lid I needed…

Ordered a replacement lid I needed urgently so paid for next day delivery. It’s not arrived 2-3 days later and no reply to email. No telephone number to contact. Very disappointed considering this companies previous reviews.

If this does not arrive by the weekend my likely bill will be in excess of £300 more.

Unless a prompt reply is received, the item delivered by Saturday with a postage refund, this company will be reported to trading standards

Customer service is effectively…

Customer service is effectively non-existent. There is no published phone number and the company is not contactable. I paid for next-day delivery for a client order, yet five days later the item has still not arrived. The only response received was an Evri tracking number, which provides no meaningful updates on the parcel’s status.
This level of service is disappointing and not acceptable for a business offering premium delivery options.

I'm sorry to hear that you feel let down by our customer service, and that you feel we are uncontactable. Customers are always able to contact us at info@gasequipmentdirect.co.uk, and we will always aim to reply within 4 working hours of any contact.

From checking logs of your communication with us, I can see that we have at least five emails back and forwards about the status of your delivery, so I'm sorry to hear that you feel we are uncontactable. We have been keeping you up-to-date with the status of your delivery with the courier throughout this, and it unfortunately appears that the courier delayed your delivery, and we have been working to rectify this with the courier. We have also offered to refund your next-day delivery charge for this in light of the courier's delays.

Please rest assured that, as per the tracking number provided, your order is on the way. If you no longer require this, you are welcome to cancel your order for a refund, as is the case with every customer of ours.

We are always available for email communication throughout any step of a customer's order, and we will always keep an open contact log with a customer until all issues are resolved.

Thank you for your orders with us. I'm sorry to hear that one of your orders was delayed. This was returned to us by the courier due to failed delivery attempts, and so we sent it back out to you again, which then arrived with you with no issues.

We don't have any forms of contact from you, either to our email inbox, our customer service contact log, or even our junk/spam mail filters. Please can you confirm the contact details you have used for us? We will always reply to customer enquiries on the same weekday we receive them, and even sooner than this when there is an issue with a customer's current order.

Poor

Poor - they have no means of contacting them by phone - I have sent multiple emails to get an answer on simple question, but the replies are sporadic and unhelpful.

Outstanding service

It was an easy website to navigate and order from.
Ordered a replacement gas box at 14:42 on a Friday with normal delivery as offered. Order notification came through, shortly after with an expected delivery for the Monday. Saturday morning, I received an update, that it would be with me later that day. It arrived less than 24hrs after I placed the order. Top Service!

Arrived on time and easy to fit

Arrived on time. We only needed the main box as our old box got damaged but the backplate was still on the wall, hence it was very easy to fit. Don’t be fooled by the reviews that said they had to buy a separate key to open the box as the key is actually taped inside the box and you retrieve it by removing the back plate - simples 😂
