A really excellent broker
A really excellent broker. Very easy to fill application and order forms with superb support from Claire. Ruth then liaised with me over delivery of the vehicle and also provided me with superb service. Although I never met these ladies they were both very friendly, polite and caring and made me feel a part of the Gateway2lease “family”. Very fast and concise responses to all of the emails I sent. I would rate Gateway2lease 10/10 and would certainly deal with them again and also recommend them. The only negative thing I would like to say is the supplying dealer delivered the car with almost zero petrol in the tank. Fortunately for me there is a petrol station close to me-someone else might not be so lucky.

Vicky was so good I feel I must single her out. My car took longer to deliver than I would have liked and though this was due to issues beyond G2L’s control she kept in regular touch and updated me every step of the way. Right from my initial phone call as a general enquiry, Claire Garness spent a lot of time explaining and searching for the deal and car that I wanted. Once the car I wanted has gone, she made every effect to ensure I find another one, which is the one now I am leasing. Her professionalism and service is much appreciated.
Once the sales contracted, Ruth Brown of the customer service team leader took over. She kept me well informed and updated with the delivery and paperwork. She even helped me to solve the BYD app issue after delivery. All in all, I like the person touch she offers and she is very responsive to my calls and email.

Don't bother - broken promises on delivery date with poor communications
I cannot recommend this company. They failed to deliver on time, and when I chased for updates, I received only false promises. Rather than taking responsibility or offering solutions, they consistently blamed their suppliers and the rest of the pipeline. When I asked for support, there was none—just excuses.
I expected accountability from a professional lease company. Instead, I got repeated delays, broken commitments, and zero willingness to help resolve the situation. I would not trust them with another lease.

Firstly, we are genuinely sorry for the frustration and disappointment caused by the delays to your vehicle order. We completely understand how upsetting it is when expected delivery dates move, particularly when you are relying on a new vehicle arriving within a certain timeframe.
Whilst we appreciate this may not change your experience, it is important to explain that as a leasing broker we do not physically supply, prepare, or deliver vehicles ourselves. We rely on information provided by the supplying dealership and manufacturer and, unfortunately, when delays occur, we are often dependent on them for updates and revised timescales.
That said, we absolutely accept that managing customer expectations during these situations is part of our role, and we are sorry that you feel we fell short on this occasion. Please be assured that we have been actively chasing the supplying dealership throughout and have escalated the matter internally to Director level in an effort to secure answers and prioritise affected orders.
We recognise that this has been a disappointing experience for you and we remain committed to doing everything within our power to help bring the matter to a satisfactory conclusion.

5/5 Stars – Absolute Legends! A breath of fresh air.
After a really bad experience with a large, well-known leasing company where the car simply never showed up after broken dates and promises, I came to Gateway2Lease - and they have been brilliant from day one.
The car was ordered and booked in smoothly with Hannah, but we then hit an issue where the day before delivery, the dealer cancelled because they had lost... part of the key!
The team - Sam and Mike - have been absolute legends throughout. They were completely on my side, backing me and working with me while I dealt with the dealer to resolve the issue. The car is still delayed by several weeks, but I have secured a loan car from the dealer and agreed other means to compensate for the delay and issues caused by the dealer, with the team supporting me the whole way.
Having leased for years with some large broker companies - and being used to never getting replies to emails, pushy sales, ignored support requests, no returned calls, and even needing to bring in the Financial Ombudsman once - the team at Gateway2Lease are a breath of fresh air. They answered every call, responded to emails, and I can't praise them highly enough.
I will be back again for personal leasing, and going forward, any business leasing too.
