This company just ignore you in the hope that you give up
Really poor service from the very first day. Was given a day to collect keys as planned, then turned up at my new shared property to find the painter there, so I couldn’t move in. He had no idea anyone was moving in as he was there decorating. I was temporarily moved into a spare room next door to my rental that was dirty, so you can imagine my first impression. After a couple of days (& without actually being told until I contacted the office) my room was ready. Freshly painted but dirty overall. I’m in my room a couple of days later, then the cleaner entered my room to say he was there to clean for the new tenant! I had to explain it was me, & I’d already cleaned the room from the previous tenant living there. Grim. No entry inventory logged having reported this multiple times. ( I wanted to ensure my deposit would be returned when I left, having an inventory done also kept things right for me.)
I then discovered that there was no working heating in my room & the ensuite bathroom paint (which had just been ‘done’ all peeling off straight away due to the damp underneath.) I knew I’d made a big mistake taking this rental. Reported the issues through their maintenance procedure multiple times before the painting was addressed. After a month or so, I decided to end my tenancy early. I paid the £400 fee to end the tenancy early, on the basis that another tenant was found. (No actual paperwork regarding this was ever sent to me.) Luckily for me, this happened quickly, otherwise I’d still be liable for rent for the full 6 months agreed (which is fair enough I guess.) Still no heating by this point. I moved in at the end of August 2025, & when I moved out mid November 2025, it still had not been resolved.
Multiple emails, messages & calls regarding my refunded rent due having paid Novembers rent in advance. Communication silence. Eventually, I received money in my bank. When I questioned the amount returned I was told by WhatsApp weeks later that I only got the refund back from when the new tenant moved in!! I emailed back with the terms of the rental agreement which do not stipulate this, only for my email to be ignored. This company completely ignore you I believe in the hope you give up contacting them. Terrible service from the very beginning. Thankfully I did get my deposit back, but I’m still chasing rent that I am due. Emails still being ignored. Really poor service.
Anyone thinking about using this company, I strongly recommend not to.

Absolutely terrible experience with this letting agency. I viewed a property three weeks in advance and paid the holding deposit the same day. I sent an email to them to confirm my holding deposit and my request, but never got a reply.
When I received the draft tenancy agreement, it stated the tenancy would start on the 26th. Based on that date, I scheduled my move for the 27th and booked movers. I went through all the required checks as instructed. However, no one ever confirmed the contract with me, arranged the move-in, or gave me clear updates. I kept asking if I could move in on the 27th and was repeatedly told “there should be okay,” so I proceeded with my plans. I called, but my calls were always hung up on, so I had to rely on messages. I messaged almost every day and was always told “everything is fine.”
On the 25th, I still had not received any updates, so I contacted them again. They finally told me to call the office, where I was informed my application had only been approved on the 24th. I explained that I had already booked movers, and they said they would “look into it and call me back in 5 minutes.” I waited for over an hour, called multiple times, and was repeatedly told the manager was in a meeting. Every time I asked for answers, they just said the manager was still in a meeting with the director and would call me later. After more than an hour, they finally called me back, only to say I could not move on the 27th. Instead, they told me I must wait until the 1st to move in, forcing me to cancel all my plans at the last minute.
They took no responsibility for the delay. They later said they had not formally confirmed the move-in date, and that everything I had arranged — including the moving company — was my own responsibility. I told them they had previously told me “there should be okay” after I sent multiple messages asking if there was enough time for me to move in on the 27th. They said it was all my responsibility and never formally confirmed anything. They also refused to refund my holding deposit, saying that withdrawing was my choice. They took no responsibility for any of the consequences — I had to rebook the moving company, find a hotel to stay in, and they refused to help.
The communication was awful and very aggressive. I was constantly interrupted, had to say “can you let me finish what I am saying” just to speak, and they continually shifted the blame onto me. They would not confirm anything, did not answer calls, ignored messages, and repeatedly promised someone would contact me quickly — only for the responsible person to go on annual leave.
Unprofessional, unhelpful, and disrespectful from start to finish. This agency caused unnecessary stress and cost me both time and money. I would never recommend them to anyone.
