Bought 2 marseille chairs from different retailers. Didn't realise they only had a 1 year warranty.the faux leather(vinyl) surface started to break up after 15 months and 2 years in they are both scrap. Contacted gfa response was quick but negative. Offered to replace panels at 50% of their list price. But buying 2 new chairs would be cheaper. CHINESE JUNK?
I had a slight problem with a mislaid part for my Biarritz swivel reclining chair (bought nearly 18 months ago). I contacted gfa service advisor and cannot fault the efficient and very prompt service I received from them. I ordered the new part yesterday and received it today in the post! Brilliant service. Thank you.
GFA are just box shifters with poor customer service.
Bought a Denver recliner that was obviously flawed and although they sent replacement parts - the parts were 3 years old and probably from a return chair or a showroom chair. At least after the second compaint they sent proper new parts that I had to fit and no apology - in fact no communication at all.

We purchased a Biarritz faux leather recliner in December 2018 for my husband.
Despite having adhered to the maintenance instructions we have had to purchase two replacement arms for splitting and now the headrest has split.
I have been advised by the company that cracking can occur if the surface is degraded by hair or body oils (particularly if the user is on certain types of medication) my husband is not on medication neither does he use hair/ body oil.
To prevent the material splitting you would need to recline without putting your head back or touching the arms.
The chair is comfortable that’s why have awarded 2 stars 0 stars for quality.
I bought one of their swivel recliner chairs through an online store and apart from slight hiccup over delivery (which was quickly resolved) I have been very satisfied with the product. It came with easy to follow instructions for the final assembly (it was already 90 % assembled).
Product quality very good and it is very comfortable
