Incompetent and dissatisfactory service

I approached Godspeed Immigration & Study Abroad Pvt. Ltd. after their sales representatives confidently promised a complete, start-to-finish solution—covering consultation, skill evaluation, PTE guidance, visa application, and even post-arrival assistance. Based on those verbal commitments, I paid ₹1,18,000 (inclusive of GST) on July 24. Soon after, on July 31, I was asked to sign a contract that primarily safeguarded the company’s interests and left customers with little protection.

Here’s the actual sequence of events that unfolded:

Aug 8: I received an eligibility report, which turned out to be a basic summary drawn from freely available online tools. It was identical to what had already been shared before payment, lacking any expert insight or tailor-made analysis.
Aug 21: The first documentation call took place. During this discussion, the information about my eligibility didn’t match what was initially presented and contradicted the earlier verbal statements. Concerned, I requested a stop until the matter could be clarified.
Aug 22 – Sep 23: For the next month, staff continued to assure me verbally that my eligibility was valid but never provided tangible proof or data—just repeated verbal reassurances.
Sep 24: I formally submitted an email requesting a refund, citing misleading guidance and inadequate service delivery. This email went unanswered.
Sep 25 – Oct 9: Rather than addressing the refund concerns, I was contacted by multiple teams attempting to persuade me to continue. Some even implied I should have kept records of verbal promises. No one acknowledged the core issue.
Oct 9: The legal division dismissed my refund request by invoking the contract terms, without addressing the substance of my complaint.
Oct 9 – Oct 15: I was told a detailed review would be conducted.
Oct 15: The review concluded with a complete rejection of my refund, again with no recognition of the lack of service I faced.

Throughout the process, I was never able to reach a decision-maker. My concerns were redirected between departments, none of them assuming accountability. Escalation was possible only through email to the legal team—there was no channel to speak directly with someone who could resolve the matter.

All I received over nearly three months were a generic eligibility summary and one brief documentation call. The company maintains this as “substantial service,” but I personally found it fell far short of value for money. Despite repeated communication, the refund was declined, leaving me powerless.

My genuine advice to others:

Refrain from depending on verbal commitments or paying large upfront fees unless clear, mutually protective terms are documented. From my experience, the process lacked transparency, consistency, and adequate customer support. I’m sharing this in the hope that future clients make better-informed decisions.

I had a very bad experience with godspeed

I had a very bad experience with Godspeed Consultancy (Kochi) regarding my German Opportunity Card visa.
Before my detailed review, a quick note:
Applying for the Opportunity Card is actually simple. You just need to fill out the form on the official portal and submit your documents through VFS. Please visit "digital.diplo.de" and check the application form yourself (you can even create a dummy form without submitting). There are also plenty of YouTube videos with step-by-step guidance. Honestly, Google and ChatGPT can provide more accurate information than this consultancy.
MY EXPERIENCE:
• I was planning to migrate to Europe when I came across their ad. Soon after, an agent named Akshaya started constant follow-ups, saying they had a limited-time “offer” of ₹50,000 (instead of ₹75,000). She assured me that once I paid, my application would be processed immediately.
• After a week of consideration, I paid ₹50,000 + GST (₹59,000). The next day they sent me a one-sided service agreement with terms completely in their favor. For example, even in the worst case, they only refund 10%—meaning once you sign, your money is practically gone.
• With hesitation, I signed and returned it. A week later, they rejected my agreement, claiming my signature didn’t match the one on a 9-year-old passport. Their promise of “immediate processing” was clearly false. When I questioned the delay, they said they had “many applicants” and things take time. Later, Akshaya admitted she had no idea when the documentation team would process my case, and even demanded another ₹25,000 for “quick processing.”
• Realizing the red flags, I withdrew within 10 days of payment and requested a full refund, since there was no valid agreement. That’s when the real struggle began. Multiple agents kept calling me, each unaware of my previous conversations.
• After weeks of back-and-forth, they finally agreed to refund ₹45,000, claiming ₹5,000 as “administrative charges” and withholding ₹9,000 GST refund. After consulting with my advocate, I explained that they cannot arbitrarily deduct admin charges and that GST must also be refunded. Eventually, they agreed to refund ₹53,100.
• They promised to refund within 30 working days, but even on the 29th day I had no response. Finlay, after countless calls and 40+ emails did I finally get my money back on the 30th day.
VERDICT:
• Do your own research first—the entire Opportunity Card application takes less than 100 words to fill out and simple document submission.
• Don’t blindly trust “4+ star” Google reviews—negative reviews often disappear overnight.
• If you still want to proceed with this consultancy:
o Ask for the service agreement before payment and read the refund policy carefully.
o Check if there are any hidden administrative charges.
o Ensure they refund GST proportionately (charging GST on the full amount during refund is illegal).
o Demand access to the consular portal account so you know exactly what is being submitted in your name.
• Remember: they cannot proceed with your Opportunity Card unless you create a blocked account (if required).
