Sue was really helpful today in the Blackburn store. Despite it being incredibly busy, she served us with a smile and helped us with a query we had. Thank you Sue 😊

Absolutely amazing customer service by Lou. Took my son in to buy his first hiking boots was about to purchase some boots then Lou was passing buy and asked if we needed help and I advised her I am just buying my sons first hiking boots and instead of saying you can just take them to the till she said let me check to make sure everything is OK so she spent 20 minutes checking different sizes and different shoes and found a different pair a size smaller which fit better than the ones we were originally going to purchase. An absolute credit to great outdoors not had customer service like this in a long time

Norman was great on the walking shoes and boots dept. Loads of advice and really helpful which made picking the right pair easy.

Arthur was incredibly helpful. Bothered him far more than i should and he was more than happy to help every time. Managed to get everything i needed in the store as well which was a plus

We were looking for a tent at lunchtime on the 31st of July. We went to Outdoor Action first and saw a tent in there that we liked. We then went to Go Outdoors Blackburn, to see what they had. While we were in the store, were these four yobs, and one started vaping. I was just about to take the children out because I'm not going to tolerate such antisocial behaviour. I don't want the stink, and I don't want my children seeing such disgraceful behaviour. We're just going to go out and back to Outdoor Action. But this member of staff, who is about six feet tall, about 60, with glasses, went over and told the yob clearly that it was not allowed to do that in the shop. The yob did stop doing it. If they continued, we would have gone out and bought a tent in Outdoor Action. Because of this intervention of this member of staff who did the right thing, we ended up buying a tent from Go Outdoors. We got through tills quickly and we have a good tent at a good price.

Exactly what I was looking for in stock on the day and some great prices with the membership card 👍

Great service provided by Sue and Aliza - they helped me with my Dryrobe fitting and even carried some of the things I’d purchased out to the car.

Some of the 50% savings today was an added and unexpected bonus too.
