New hiking boots.
Richard was very patient, helping me choose a pair of boots. He cheerful let me try lots of different pairs before I found the pair for me.

Found the products we wanted at a good price, good customer service at the checkout

MY local store did not have what i wanted but staff helped to get one for me from another store.

ordered online a fishing pole v roller, price was £7, went into Chesterfield branch to collect the roller the very next day and had a mooch thru their terminal tackle before I went to the tills to collect the roller, i notice the roller on their shelves in the fishing tackle section and it was priced uo at £6 ( its still £6 on the website today ), anyway i went to the tills to collect the roller and told a young lady about the price difference and she said theres nowt they can do about it, horrible snappy little employee should have stayed in bed that morning, anyway i just took what I'd ordered and stormed out, took it home and found it to be faulty so took it back next day for a replacement, instead of refunding me my 7 quid back then getting me a replacement at 6 quid they just did a direct swap, what a bad experience , twice in 2 days ya meet with an employee that either cant or refuses to help ya
AND THEY STILL OWE ME A QUID BUT REFUSE TO ADDRESS THE SITUATION.

20/19/26 Update Of The Day folks, go outdoors have responded by a complete and utter load of crap, they really think im gonne waste my time talking to ppl who dont give a monkeys about their customers, if they are really concerned they would email me and offer me compensation , find the liar who served me and hand her a well.deserved P45.
so come on go outdoors how ya gonna resolve this one eh ???

My boyfriend and I came in with only 30 mins left of shop opening time on a mad dash to find some proper walking shoes for tomorrow morning. I was helped by the most kind and informative man, Chris, who took the time to grab me my size, walk with me, test my gait on a board and all sorts. He really made me feel comfortable and like I could have good faith in my choice of boot in the end. Thank you Chris! Cancelled half the order with no communication just a part refund,never received an email to say the rest of the order was ready to collect from store,tried after several days and it had arrived but wasn’t what I expected so asked to refund it straight away ,still waiting two weeks later for the refund so another trip to the store needed

The shop experience was great. However the online not so good, unable to attach my blue light discount card or any discount code for that matter.
Ended up purchasing online then returning to my local store for a refund then purchased again with discount applied

The day before i was due to go away in microcamper, i wanted a small compressor fridge. The one on offer was too large when the young man carried it to van to try for me. He suggested a smaller one which fitted. I quickly rejoined (as theyd "lost" me on their system) and hurried out to get packed up. In the morning i discovered theyd sold me a battery draining 'cool box' not a fridge. Its no use to me at all 😭
