Visited my local GO Outdoors looking…
Visited my local GO Outdoors looking for lightweight narrow fitting walking shoes had a browse then asked for help. Charlotte in the footwear department could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable on what was on offer and bringing out different sizes to try on. Very successful made the purchase. Thank you for all your help.
On to the checkout where Fay was polite courteous and engaging .

Ripped me off …
I bought a pint of maggots should have been £3.60 I looked at my receipt and have been charged £14 for two lots of 1.4kg of dendra. Absolutely disgusting.

I had a problem with some tent poles. Chris from Doncaster branch replaced the poles no questions asked. Absolute gentleman. Don't get this type of service from many places these days

Called at Doncaster branch to buy walking shoes plus other items .
My wife chose two pairs after a member of staff scanned the display tickets only one pair was available priced at £95 .
tried them on happy with the fit
At the checkout with other items queried the final price only to be told shoes were £135 After two members of staff checked and said display price was £95 one staff said system price was correct. no other explanation given at checkout said take it or leave it. This service is not acceptable and could have been dealt with in a much friendlier and more professional way.

We understand how frustrating it must have been to be advised of a lower price on the display, only to be told a higher price at the till after you had already chosen and tried on the item.
While pricing discrepancies can occasionally occur, we completely agree that this should have been clearly explained and resolved in a far more helpful and professional manner. The way this situation was communicated to you does not reflect the level of service we expect our colleagues to provide.

Helpful at the checkout. Noticed i was buying 2 pairs of shoes with different sizes. I was able to change sizes before paying.
Another member of staff was very helpful in selecting shoes to try on.

Michael was fabulous. Could not have been more helpful. On a busy day he was present, calm and was great helping me find what I was looking for.

Doncaster store always 5 stars.
Doncaster store always 5 stars and yesterday was no exception. I needed to investigate whether the DoE service was still available as it was some years since using it for a grandson. Colin was busy sorting shelves when I managed to explain my query. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He was very knowledgeable about the DoE and gave me very comprehensive information to send to family to help them make equipment decisions. Colin was able to explain clearly and was patient in taking time update my Go Outdoors members discount card. The Doncaster branch staff are always cheerful, patient and knowledgeable about the products and Colin typified that.
