Really helpful and friendly.
I was on my way to a camp site. Had been stuck in traffic for ages and not in the mood to go shopping - however I needed some last minute kit upgrades, so can’t off the A30 and nipped into the Launceston store. Easy to find and access off the main road.
Rebecca and Jack made the rest really easy, they helped me find what I needed with lots of patience and guidance and even helped me carry some of it to the tills.
The product knowledge was really good without trying to get me to buy the most expensive stuff and the service was great and included an all important smile.

Hiking boots
Went in to buy some new hiking boots and was indecisive about sizes but Tom was really helpful and knowledgeable and helped me pick out a pair. Happy with my choice, thanks Tom!

Go outdoors is my first choice when…
Go outdoors is my first choice when looking for comfortable hard wearing clothing and shoes. Where I live in Cornwall we don’t have any big clothing stores close by so Go outdoors is a godsend. I would still shop there even if we did have other choices. Good quality and price. And the customer service has been excellent with friendly staff and helpful advice.

Needed new walking boots
Needed new walking boots, arrived at Launceston shop and first class service by staff members, Lenzi and Kayleigh. Walked out with new boots and great deal. Great customer service.

Paid for a renewal on their “Club…
Paid for a renewal on their “Club Membership” in-store (PL15), whilst it works in-store, tried using online and it states membership expired. Queried with manager in-store, who arrogantly told me the card must be cloned. Asked what he could do. He said nothing, I would have to contact customer services…. Great. Asked to refund so I could renew online, said he would not. Asked for his name as a reference, was told he would not give it.
Staff need some customer skills ASAP

Linzi was brilliant
Linzi was brilliant and so was the manager! We had an issue with Hi Gear premium Thermec Freeze 36L while away in Newquay. Called up in a bit of a panic but was greeted with a lovely hello and great customer service, Linzi listened to my issues, got a replacement ready for me while on the phone and then proceeded to walk me through the process so it could be as efficient as possible and there wasn’t more inconvenience on top of the 90ish mile round trip to exchange.
Could have been a very irritating moment on our family trip but handled so well it was just a minor hiccup.

Visited Launceston branch
Visited Launceston branch for walking shoes for me and shorts for my wife. Kayleigh was very helpful and had good product knowledge that helped me with my selection. Jack on check-out was also a pleasure to deal with. All in all a great shopping experience.
